A great place for a quick bite to eat and grab drinks. It was rather busy on a Wednesday night which is always a good sign in book.
I had Julie's Favorite salad which was great! It was a large portion and very fresh. I really wanted a burger but was in the mood for a fresher meal. That said, the burgers looked outstanding and seemed to be the go to order around me.
Overall, this is a great joint with solid food, good service and appears to be popular with the locals. Side note, they are cash only but definitely worth it!
I went for an event in the back rooms. I wanted to try the "best" burger. Beware they don't take cards only cash but don't worry they have an ATM that charges $2.95. The burger was good but the ATM thing made them lose a star.
From the sound of arcade, great customer service, excellent food. What's not to like about this old style pub and eatery! Really one of the greatest locations on Westport Rd. There is a reason they have been open for sometime, don't quit being excellent!
Burgers are 100% cooked perfectly. Prices are super fair for quality and amount of food you get.
My daughter does not like any of the three side options with the kids’ meals. When I asked if there was a fresh fruit option of any sort, the gentleman kindly told me there weren’t. No big deal; my daughter would be more than happy with her corn dog nuggets.
Our order came up, and what a delightful surprise; there was a bowl of grapes on the plate. The chefs in the back took it upon themselves to take care of us. They didn’t have to. But they went above and beyond, and with this small, kind gesture, have earned a customer for life.
Oh, and the games and pinball machines certainly don’t hurt either ????
There's no way to leave a review like this on delivery apps, so I'll do it here.
The food is really amazing, I have loved eating here the entire time I've lived in KC.
However, the service is atrocious. I have never once gotten a delivery order that actually contained my food. It usually takes over an hour to arrive. And the cook or manager who handles such complaints is rude and expects praise when he finally gets your order right.
If you're going to eat here, I suggest eating in house.
It was a good time! Only minor complaints is that the food service was a bit slow and some of the pinball machines are looking mechanically flawed; especially a cool-looking Cueball Wizard Gottlieb Pinball some of the rubber barriers are disintegrated and the top plastics are curling. There was a Wheel of Fortune Stern game that'll definitely keep me coming back, so I do hope they keep that game in working order
Great food. The burgers and Philly cheese steak were perfect. The curly fries are not seasoned and were crispy. The salad was fresh and the cakes were excellent! Lots of games to play and some even have prizes. Plenty of parking. They have great hours so plenty of opportunities to go have a good time.
