I went to this diner Sunday 10-20-24 on the afternoon, and there was about 16 customers seated, so it was almost empty. I got the menu which had no egg or breakfast items on it so i ordered a hot chocolate, and, hot corned beef sandwich on rye bread plus .80 cent for swiss cheese which comes with french fries. The hot chocolate came first, which taste watered down, so I added two French Vanilla Cream to boost the flavor. The utensils was only knife and a fork, no spoon to stir the chocolate so I used the knife. When Barbara my waitress arrived with my sandwich she placed it in the seating across from me as if someone was seated there, so I pulled it over to me. Looking at the plate was three to four slices of corned beef and the rye bread really thin in slice like the pre-cut sold in Publix. I notice a piece of tostitos chips hanging on the tail of the melted swiss cheese. To sum this up, after visiting diners on the east coast I could have made a better sandwich and giving the diner 1 star is been very generous. My advice to management is you have a lot of work to do with your staff if you are looking long term.
The French Fry were hot, crispy and soft on the inside, wonderful job on the fry.
Delivered the absolute worst excuse of a sandwich I’ve ever had. I ordered the croissant sandwich and they didn’t event put a croissant bread!!! Which is crazy to be how can I be called a sandwich aside from that there was no flavor whatsoever and it was cold. It was a waste of money and ultimately was a mistake to purchase from them.
Often times in our lives we need comfort food and if there are times we need a “Great Little Diner”.
I am glad I was able to get both in one visit.
We wanted something to eat and remembered the little diner in the corner… and so we entered. The first impression was worth all the stars, we were greeted by staff who’s smile definitely was genuine and welcoming.
I have had a tough week with a knee surgery, complications, and dealing with limited movement and in a wheelchair. Upon interning the door the welcome we received was so inviting. We asked for the restroom and then the staff helped clear the bathroom for my caregiver to go in with me. Then met us back at the table and engaged in a conversation and shared details with us about the diner.
Our waitress quickly helped us with drinks and order and the food was out within minutes. The choices we had were amazing. The portions large and if course we cannot overlook the attentiveness of the staff asking if we were ok, if we needed more coffee, if we needed anything else.
It’s been a while since we’ve been T a place where staff spends time and makes you feel like family. For this short time we were here we enjoyed everything.
The only downfall is the outside is being refurbished so there was temp fence and honestly it wouldn’t matter because everything else was amazing
Looking forward to future meals here and trying out other menu items,
I can strongly suggest the 2~2-2…
I had the banana walnut pancakes and they were the best ever.
Thanks for making this a great day and sharing a great menu with us
I had a brief, but strong experience for Brunch today. There was adequate parking in front. I was greeted nicely when I walked in and was quickly sat to my seat. The restaurant today was quiet, very quiet. I could hear everyone's conversation around me. Background music was on, but faintly. Could improve on atmosphere.
The restaurant was clean - one of my biggest favorites. Thank you. My table and seat were a little uncomfortable, but no big deal.
More than enough options on the menu for anyone, quite a large menu. The food was hot and fresh when it came out. Tasted great, had no problem. Service was strong, I had no issues.
Overall, I had a good visit. I'm my opinion It's made for a quick bite not to sit and visit.
We have lived in the area for a while & never ate here, so we decided to finally give it a try for breakfast. We were disappointed. It wasn't very busy and the staff was very nice but the food wasn't good. Although they were very nice, they made errors the tried to fix. However they were not the quicest at attentiveness& details. We sent our food back 2x to be corrected, and we hate doing that. The final result was still not what we wanted and just not good ,but we felt bad being those people, so we ate it and just stayed disappointed. We had soggy omlets that were more like scrambled eggs with toppings thrown in. Even coffee had a bad taste. We tried to venture to something new but will likely not do that again.
Just don’t go. Place was not busy at all and it took forever once we sat down to even be greeted. Coffee was terrible, weren’t provided plates for our appetizer and when we requested them it took a long while before they were brought over, we didn’t get straws and when we asked they said “sorry we’re out of straws”. Wasn’t offered a coffee refill not once, when food finally came I was missing a part of my order and waitress never came back so that I could tell her it was missing. The eggs were bad, the pancakes weren’t done right and tasted gross, pancakes had a melted piece of other food in them, omelette was burnt and had a giant black burn circle the size of a babies hand, were never offered any ketchup, hot sauce or asked how our meal was. Terrible food and service
Total disaster. Very quiet afternoon with few patrons. Took over 30 minutes to get omelets which were undercooked and had to be sent back. Bagel was straight out of the frozen food section of Publix. Biscuit and gravy soggy and flavorless. Service nonexistent.
Well first time trying and extremely disappointing. I walked in and first of all it was slow and the decor looked like it was packing up to leave or got closed down. Second I waited over 5 minutes to be seated and nobody came. An old couple just said the hell with this and sat down after waiting, myself I left and glad I did if all this was bad I sure the food would have been as well!
