This is the best mall in the area (Westmoreland, Allegheny, and Armstrong County). There are still many businesses, not many that are closed. They have stores that don't exist in other places, like Hot Topic. The food court has a pretty decent selection. The mall is clean and always looks nice. Holiday decorations are always top notch here. I wish it were closer, but I can't fault them for that! It's worth the drive out, if only on occasion.
Still my favorite mall out of all the malls in the Pittsburgh area. Elegant and modern interior. Clean and well-decorated (the huge Christmas tree is beautiful during the holidays). The layout is spacious yet simple and easy to follow and includes a center court with four wings, and one lower and upper level. A nice food court, multiple escalators and an elevator. Good assortment of various stores. There's just a warm and alive feel to it you don't find at other malls. I hope this place stays for a very long time.
Very busy but it is Christmas so was to be expected a few new stores that were nice I liked the used book store the put in you can’t beat the prices there at all
They have a decent number of stores still, but most places are closed or empty. The layout is much easier to navigate than some other meals I've been to in the area. The hours of operation are much less than they were before opening at 11am and closing at 8pm Monday - Saturday, 11am - 5pm Sunday.
This mall is extremely nice. It has a lot of stores to choose from. I love the aesthetics in here and the food court has a lot of 80s aesthetics in it. Awesome!
I don't know why nobody likes to visit malls anymore. I personally don't like to order clothes online as I like to try, combine, and buy knowing it fits the first time. Same with shoes. Westmoreland Mall has a variety of stores for my shopping pleasure under one roof, out of the heat, cold or rain. You can always find a sale at one of the numerous shops. It is also clean and they do a nice job hosting Santa and the Easter Bunny. I also feel it's safe for my family and me to be there.
The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is for 2 things.
1) The food court bathrooms need improvements.
2) This one is the biggie. As you are walking into the mall from the food court entrance, you can smell the absolutely horriable smell of the garbage behind the brick wall. It is beyond gross and such a turn off from wanting to by food after walking past that. Seriously, you need to do something about this.
Other than that, I will always support my local mall.
Was here for the casino but the mall is pretty nice food court had some good choices and on Sundays they had people selling like flea market kinda set up but not as shabby
Still one of the best malls in Western Pennsylvania. Clean, full of stores, lots of interesting things to see.
