Although the wait time was pretty long, from the employees checking in patients to the nurse and the doctor, everyone was extremely helpful, pleasant and nice to have been a patient for. Without having to ask, the man who checked me in would give me updates on my wait time which was very nice. The nurse I had was warm and welcoming and efficient, and as was the doctor I saw. Both great bedside manner
I cannot thank the staff enough for their efficiency and care. I was a walk in a few hours before it closed and was quickly checked in, I waited for maybe 30 minutes (even though I was told the wait would be longer) and taken to the back to speak with a nurse, get some tests done and see a PA. I explained my symptoms and the PA did some checks and quickly told me they would refer me to the ER. She got the paperwork done and I was on my way to the ER. I did in fact have to get surgery done and I am at home recovery. What a great experience. This will absolutely be the urgent care I go to from now on.
I’m sorry we chose this place to have a medical issue addressed. Although the staff was very good, given their crummy situation working for Summit Health, the rest of the experience was very long wait in a common area, whether someone was vomiting, clearly in pain or whatever. The exam room was clean, but the supplies appeared to be an issue with the staff as Summit Health now apparently orders the cheapest supplies on the market, and it makes a difference for both the staff and the patient.
Summit Health should be putting the word QUALITY in the manual for executives making decisions on how to run this business.
Because this has clearly just become a money making business for this place - not a quality experience for patients in need.
I am not knocking the doctors or staff. These people are there to help patients. It’s what they want to do. They seem to be drowning in the institution they are working for.
Hello everyone, you deserve better than this.
The receptionists are the best! I made an appointment but still waited an hour and a half be seen. Needed an X-RAY, waited another 30 minutes for the results to be read. Doctors and nurses were very professional and competent. Just wish the visit hadn’t taken 2 1/2 hours.
Went as a walk in for urgent care so I knew there would be a lil bit of a wait. Staff was transparent re the wait time which I appreciated. All staff were professional and addressed my concerns. Nurse and NP were thorough explaining what they were doing and answering questions.A good experience was had.
I would definitely recommend this provider for care.
Everyone at the check-in desk was very friendly and helpful. It was calming during what was a stressful day. The doctor, nurse, and technician who worked with my son were patient and put him at ease. Thank you for making this such a positive experience.
Broke and cut my small finger, I went to Westmed and received great treatment from a nurse named Rita, she cleaned my wound , and then I saw Dr. Wan who was also great, He ordered an x-ray for my finger and then referred me to a hand specialist, I saw Dr. Rosenfield who confirmed I had a break and tendon damage , his nurse Dana was great, she put a splint on my finger. This is the best treatment I have ever gotten for an injury. The nurses and doctors were great, glad I came here
My experience was very pleasant. The wait time was as expected and the doctor was very personable has great bedside manner. This is definitely my preferred urgent care location.
