This review is mainly for Dr Hanson and not the clinic as a whole. She’s been my doctor for a while and I’ve always been very happy with her demeanor, patient care, and the ability to really do what the patient wants. She is an A+ doctor!
I saw Dr. Friedmann to treat my acne scars. I’m a woman of color and he recommended a treatment that would work for me. I am lighter complexed, I went back after the procedure for a follow up and I was upset that for $3,330 I saw no change in my condition. For that price I was expecting the difference Dr. Friedmann said it would do. I got nothing, just a bunch of fluff but no offer to redo it. Just a welp.. It will be 2 years this week and my face has plenty of time to heal and still for the price I paid my face should not look like this. He did offer me to pay for another round of treatment while I’m not happy with the service I already paid you for. I got nothing. I feel very much taken advantage of… no one has ever even called to see how my skin was since I came to my follow up with a complaint…
Went to see Dr. Emily Wood, M.D. for a consultation at Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery at the 8825 FM 2244 Austin location. Dr. Wood understood my issues and was able to recommend and thoroughly explained procedures to meet my goals along with the associated costs. Her experience gave me confidence in her knowledge and ability to meet my objectives.
Went for a skin check and a cosmetic mole removal. They ended up convincing me I had fungal toenails and made me spend over $500 to later find out that I didn’t have any fungus at all.
And they never did the mole removal. I had to go to another derm and she got it done in 15 minutes. Never coming back to this practice.
