WORST PLACE!
Don’t left any thing there, otherwise you can’t never get it back! Some of the employees will cover for each other even they know who’s the thief!
I left my very cool dipper bag with full of baby stuff I prepared for months, can’t find it back anymore!
Also you can’t have RIGHT there!
For the water park, they say my 5 years old boy too short to play, say my 7 years old nephew too tall to play!
They are cousins and just want to play together, but they set up all these rules and if you not follow, they will Kick you out, put you in the jail( just a little touch with the an employee with a argument) and take all your money.
Don’t buy the time share there, not worth it! Full of lies! they only take your money with no services! As a customer, you have 0 right to doing things here.

WHAT AN UGLY PLACE!
I had a great time here! The staff were awesome and accommodating. I had the Grand Villa and it was an amazing suite. Loved the bar staff and they Even gave me an additional pass to park the slingshot I rented for the week! Water Park was nice! Food was on point and they make you feel at home! Great resort!
We were gifted a 3 days 2 nights stay, for which we paid a small fee in addition to the voucher. We were advised upon making the reservation about attending a 90 minutes presentation as a requirement. It was at the presentation we learned it was a timeshare presentation that totally ruined the stay. The guy was very aggressive in his tactics and wouldn't take no for an answer. After almost 2 hours we got frustrated because the presentation was supposed to be 90 minutes. We explained that we didn't need it because we had not yet owned a home so it was not worthwhile to purchase that before a home. He was near tears so he went and got a 3rd party to try to convince us when we insisted we didn't want the timeshare that person went and got someone else. We still refused so he ended the presentation by doing a write up on the form as if we were ineligible to begin with and blocked us from future presentation. I called trying to make a reservation later that year and was told we were blocked from staying there. No big deal because Orlando has so many hotel options to choose from but I am still upset that they took this kind of retaliatory action because we didn't want to purchase a timeshare.
It was a 3 day weekend deal. The room was super small. The door to the adjoining room was not locked ????????. We placed a chair against it. The shower door does not latch at all. That was a downer for me as it swung back and forth while showering ☹️. Other than these things it was a pretty good time. Lost 2 stars for those things.
We stayed for 10 days in February and the room we had was a one bedroom. The layout was nice and was equipped with pretty much everything we needed. ||The bedroom was large enough for us and had a hot tub, the bed was comfortable and everything was in good working order. ||The entry to the room has a broom closet with a stackable washer and dryer which came in very handy. The kitchen had a full size fridge, an oven, a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. There were dishes enough to serve four, and the basic items to do some cooking. ||The living room had a pull out sofa bed that was good for children but an adult might not find it very comfortable. The bathroom was ok although the shower pressure was not the greatest. ||There are many different pools and hot tubs plus the water park to use if you are taking a day to stay around the property. The hours for the water park were a little short but we still got some time to use it. ||They also have a gym that is pretty well equipped and has plenty of space to workout. ||Overall we were very comfortable in our room and the staff were all very nice. This is a timeshare but we were never pitched. There was some renovation going on, on the other side of the property but we never heard any noise or really saw any disturbances. Our unit was in great shape and was very up to date. ||I would never buy a timeshare, but this was a great place to stay for our vacation.
This place is literally like a cult. They lured us in on our vacation at Universal Studios saying they were trying to promote their hotel. You’d get $150 and a free breakfast for attending a 90 minute service. Well, we learned it was a timeshare. The guy was super super freaking aggressive and was snappy at me when my 2 year old had my attention and he didn’t. Was telling my kid he needed my attention to stop for a minute. That really pissed my husband off. My husband continued to say that he was not ever buying a time share that they are a money pit and scam. He was rolling his eyes and mumbling stuff under his breath and continued to be a complete jerk. He was super aggressive towards us and continued to send people over to us to make us feel uneasy and feel like we had to buy a timeshare or we wouldn’t be getting out of there. My husband said some very not nice words and told them our children were ready to go to the water park and they’d wasted 90% of our day with the bullcrap. Stay AWAY from this place. It is 100% a scam. Paying all year round for a trip you can only go on for a week is a scam. There are lawyers getting people out of timeshares for a reason. Please don’t fall for it.
Wonderful resort!! We've stayed at resorts annually for the last 40 years,|These guys have it figured out!|Almost 4,000 rooms ,,, 13 swimming pools ... carts and a train trolly for getting guests around ... on site restaurants .. casual and fine dining |Large staff absolutely dedicated to serving their guests.|... and Walmart right across the road ...
Stayed here 3 weeks ago with my husband . We loved the resort itself . Very pretty and felt safe . The room was lovely with a nice view from our balcony but the room smelled of chemicals the entire week. We had a nice time visiting with the exception to agreeing to go to a time share sales pitch . We were told if we listened to a 90 min sales meeting we would receive a free breakfast along with a $75 gift card , 4 passes to the water park along with 2 free nights at one of their resorts . After listening to 2 hrs of sales pitch we were then given a hard time and were questioned multiple times if we were already owners or new owners. We said "no" just visiting . We were given a hard time then ended up walking out of the meeting and never given any of the promised gifts. This ruined our perfect stay at the resort . We were very disappointed in the pushiness of the sales people without an apology as well. Not sure I would ever return or recommend Westgate resorts because of this .
