This is in a perfect location. Room are good but 2 bedroom villa does not have much kitchen workspace if required you will need a deluxe suite. Access to towers are only with key Security gate which makes it more secure
I am a member. I was disappointed with this property, as it was the first time I had stayed there. Things we dealt with in our stay. The place needed to be cleaned - dirty floors. The towels supplied had stains and holes in them. The king bedroom was so small that when you stood up from the bed, you were at the bathroom entrance. There was no hot water in that bathroom either. Plus the mattress is old and dips to the middle. Another major complaint was that our keys were deactivated 3 times. Every night we came home after a long day the keys would not work. Overall, would not book again with this property at all.
everything is great, except there's no ice or machines for it. the tvs and channels are so old I couldn't even make my 5 kids happy for bedtime....was stressful. other than that- the room is kinda small- I felt it was way hyped but it's pretty tiny for what we thought and the tour we seen. will pry switch to the resort due to the fact that it had way more space than this one. nice and up to date though love the look and style. refreshing from the resort. staff is friendly and accommodating. 8/10 recommend
I called the front desk to ask about FEMA rooms, and understandably the lady told me they had none available, cool no problem, i was going to ask another question the lady literally cut me off, and hung up in my face. I called back, she realized it was me told me “to hold” and then just hung up on me. So i called back AGAIN. I said i wanted to talk to a manager, and she was fighting with me about talking to a manager and kept asking me why, and i told her i would speak to the manager about that, and was just so incredibly rude. I get to the manager and it seems as if he is taking what I’m saying as a joke, and sarcastically saying he is going to address it and “he’s so sorry” but it was in such a demeaning way. Customer service 0… actually NEGATIVE.
Visited as a Westgate owner and sadly this property just doesn’t meet the standards I have come to expect from the brand. ||Property is pitched as newly renovated. Finishes are sloppy and it’s clear the renovation was done on a budget. ||While it appears clean and fresh once you start to settle in things start to jump out. ||Kitchen has a sink with a dishwasher underneath. Sink drains extremely poorly and rinsing anything becomes a challenge. ||Door to the master bath had a loose hinge and was difficult to close. ||Master bedroom is very small and there was barely enough room for an average size adult to walk on either side. ||Bed linens were cheaper, towels were small and not soft. ||Mattress was springy and cheap. ||Worst of all was the massive accumulation of algae in the outside of our windows making the wonderful view almost non existent. When we spoke to the front desk they said it’s a known issue and they have it in their renovation plan to clean the exterior of the windows. ||Small bedroom had white material on headboard that looks like a mold of some kind ||Pool is reasonable in size. Property is small and amenities are somewhat limited. ||If you’re coming to Orlando Westgate has two other wonderful properties at Westgate Lakes and Westgate Villas. Don’t waste your time coming here.
We had several issues with this place. But I will start with the pros. The location is perfect for Universal Studios Orlando, we were there in 5 minutes. The Pool and Jacuzzi were good, they finished the day off nicely. The views were great. We saw fireworks every night before bed. Cons: the AC broke on the second from last day on vacation, they sent somebody to fix it the morning we were leaving. It was a uncomfortable 78 degrees the last 2 nights. We had a studio. So we had a King size bed and on the other end of the studio we had 2 twin beds. In the master bedroom THERE WAS NO AC VENT! The twin bedroom had a huge vent, they were freezing all night. I called the desk and they argued that there was infact a vent, I needed to look closer. I argued back. The guy they sent to fix the AC was adamant all rooms have AC vents, then when I showed him he was speechless. This place needs attention to detail. They slapped this hotel together so fast to make a quick buck. Don't even get me started on the poolside drinks, they are astronomical with their prices. This is definitely a hard pass next time I come to town. Try and find an AC vent in the photos I submitted!
Upon arrival, I was surprised to find no bellboys available to assist with luggage, and the welcome was less than professional. There was someone in the lobby engaged in a loud conversation, shouting across the space. Meanwhile, a staff member began vacuuming the lobby, with the television playing at a high volume. When I approached the front desk, the receptionist seemed indifferent to the surrounding noise; even after I mentioned the difficulty in hearing him, no effort was made to address the noise level. Additionally, housekeeping never attended to the room, which was in an unacceptable condition—there were hairs on the floor and in the bathroom. Based on this experience, this hotel would not merit even a single star and guess what there’s no towels, sorryyyyyyy am traveling for 4 days shall I bring my towels with me. Shame on this bad hospitality.
I’m currently staying here with my mom Kerri Stewart. I leave Sunday 9/15/2024. Number one the QR codes they tell us to scan for the bar and coffee shop are not up to date. Then I finally went to the bar around 2:30pm today , I Was told that they open at 3pm. So I sat down until 3:05pm , then finally opened , and totally skipped over me and addressed the customers at the pool, when I had been sitting there over half an hour. I was so upset that I just got up and walked away. Also the front desk representative provided us with wrong information several times, and even when my mom tried contacting higher ups to explain , she could not get in touch with anyone. This was suppose to be a relaxing get a way. This is my 5 year olds first time in Orlando ; and also just wanted to enjoy some family time.I did walk back down there and asked what was that , when they seen me sitting there for over half an hour , and the guy at the bar told me he didn’t want to interrupt me while I was on the phone , and he thought I would just walk up. Mind you the Closed sign is still sitting on the bar as if they are closed. They also have a bad ant problem. They were all over the bed and floors . I posted pictures , if it’s not clear enough I have videos.
