We love everything about this resort! Right across from the beach and with in walking distance to Ron Jon and the pier! Every morning we would walk down to watch the sunrise! We love the lazy river but unfortunately it wasn't heated this year so that was a bummer. The firepit lounge area is nice to sit around and relax. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing new places to try.
We loved this resort! Very nicely renovated and the rooms were perfect. Staff was superb and knowledgeable. It’s convenient to several places and things to do. Make sure to visit Kennedy Space Center, Lighthouse Mini Golf, and Brano’s Italian restaurant across the street from the resort. Lazy river, pool and hot tub were well maintained and we have no small children but the splash pad was also very clean and maintained.
First time visiting Cocoa Beach and we were very pleased with our choice of hotel. The apartment itself was super comfy and had everything that we needed. A great location close to bars, shops & restaurants and access to the beautiful beach. We used the shuttle bus to the Pier many times and this was a great service for us. We all loved the lazy river and swimming pool and met some lovely people. We would 100% use this accommodation again
Excellent customer service. Clean rooms. So much fun at the beach and in the pool, lazy river, splash pad and hot tub. Every person that worked there was so nice and accommodating. Will absolutely visit again.
Arrival and Check-in procedures were followed including giving the required hours of notice however the room was not clean. The bed sheets were dirty. The bathroom countertop was dusty. The pullout sofa bed was dirty. The floor was sandy/dusty. The curtain near the front door was badly stained/dirty. One bathroom fan was faulty (sometimes wouldn't turn on). Parking spaces were too tight. Location was advertised as a beachfront resort however only about 2 rooms on another building across the road was beachfront with a view. That was not communicated when booking however during the timeshare sales pitch meeting, it was communicated that those rooms are reserved for owners. On-site amenities were very minimal for a place considered a "resort". The lazy river and pool were nice however no restaurant or other benefits.
What was done?
Bed sheets were promptly changed. Bathroom fan was promptly changed. Curtains were promised to be changed but never happened over the several days we were there.
Everything about WESTGATE brings a smile to our hearts. We absolutely love all the family oriented amenities, activities, and everything the room has to offer to make your vacation truly enjoyable. I cannot say that good things about the Cocoa Beach resort other than will be back next year!
We love the Westgate at cocoa beach. We have been repeat visitors. Cleanliness of the rooms could definitely use some help but the amenities and the amazing staff really do make up for it. We had a small issue with our room and they are always on top of requests. For this particular visit I want to give a shout out to AJ - he has been such a great help and such a friendly face.
Small but great location. We stayed at the back building lose to the beach. No view from the room but very quite. Some front desk folks need more info and service attitude. Lazy river was down during our stay. No flags out regarding surf or water conditions.
