I came for a Halloween paint night a few weeks ago and had a blast! They had some surprisingly good cocktails to try out. I can’t comment on how things are on the weekends, but for a Thursday night I had fun!
Very fun environment to come if you want to country dance. $10 cover charge. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Great atmosphere.
Came here to celebrate with a huge group of girls. I have new found respect for country line dancing. My first time and definitely not the last. I’d highly recommend for any out of town guests like myself. Even took a ride on the mechanical bull! ???? Super fun place and service is impeccable.
Me my wife and some friends went to go country dancing here and it pretty much played more hip hop in country music. The atmosphere at this Western dance bar has changed quite a bit in the last couple years. It used to be more of a cowboy bar where people were fun but also respectful. The crowd now is like going to a high school or maybe a party college dance. People dancing like idiots not even respecting other people's personal space. The music was okay if you were in the right place but it was not really what I was hoping for. If I wanted to go to an all-out dance club I would have went somewhere else. Very disappointed with this place it used to be one of my favorites. After This last excursion to go out with my wife and have some fun I'm going to have to start looking around for someplace better. Not only was it kind of a crap show but also it took us like 30 minutes to get the first round of alcohol and then an additional 30 minutes after ordering each time that we needed to get something to drink. Quite a pain.
I’ve been here several times. The food is subpar but pretty average for a bar.
The lady at the front has an attitude and is not helpful at all.
I brought some guest from out of the country and she didn’t accept the foreign ID’s even though the website didn’t mentioned it had to be passports; my guests were over 60 years old! Also, she called a guy to tried to intimidate us which was silly.

2. I’m not trying to save face or pride. My guests were my parents so no issues there.
3. State law is you need to present ID if you appear under age 35. You can present other non scannable ID; the establishment would need to log those manually.
4, The lady upfront told us laughing we should go back home for other IDs and drive really fast to try to make it back which was condescending. She probably is a nice lady but unfortunately we had a negative experience tonight and with your response to my review about what happened.
We had a great time at the Westerner. It was our first time and we had no idea it would be so packed and such a fun time. $10 cover charge, drinks, food, line dancing, mechanical Bull riding and karaoke.
Service was great. We had reserved a table which was great because it was so busy. Food was your bar food. We got nachos, wings and boneless wings to share.
it’s not really great for line dancing. very country music, not enough of the fun dances that are around the west coast. band nights every weekend, which no one really enjoys.
too much couples dancing, which cool, but the line dancing is all the fun as well as it’s sadly not the best place for it.
A great dancefloor but it does get crowded on weekends. Like any other bar, you sometimes have to deal with some morons who have had too much to drink. Their tots are unreasonably good, especially with the jalapeno ranch.
