We had our baby at WWH and were very happy with everything regarding our experience. The staff was all very professional and always made us feel comfortable and well cared for from prenatal visits to the birth of our baby. There is a maternity care desert in Northern Wisconsin, our closest delivery option was 45 minutes from our house and we decided to go to WWH, which was 1 hour and 15 minutes. We feel very lucky to have had WWH as an option for delivering our baby.
My first time this year seeing a midwife for my third pregnancy, and I couldn't be happier with Western Health. It's clean, warm environment. Everyone is welcoming and looks at you with value. My midwife listens and makes me feel comfortable each visit. Radiology and lab staff take great care of each patient and create great care.
Review for WWH Birth Center and Clinic:
Wow, words truly cannot describe the positive experience my husband and I have had at both the WWH Clinic and the Birth Center with the birth of our first child this month. Right from the first appointment with Dr. Hartung to the childbirth and breastfeeding classes and finally to the moment we walked out of the Birth Center doors with our newborn little girl, we felt that we were in the best of hands. WWH is truly a diamond in the rough in this small town Wisconsin community and we feel so blessed to receive our care here.
We cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Hartung and the person that he is. During every single prenatal appointment, he demonstrated compassion, took his time with us, answered every question we had, and showed that he not only has deep knowledge in his field but also a passion for serving families that is second to none. We knew that we were in the very best hands we could be with him from the first appointment to the moment our daughter was born. His down to earth nature, humble demeanor, and kindness will never be forgotten! There's a saying that Dr. Hartung is "a legend" in the OBGYN community, and it's evident to see why that is the case. We feel so fortunate that we were able to be under his care! We also greatly appreciated his nurse, Falyn, and the check-in desk staff who supported us at each prenatal appointment as well. They were always kind and helpful with whatever questions or needs that we had!
Last but certainly not least, we want to give our highest recommendation of the WWH Birth Center. The staff of labor & delivery nurses there is absolutely outstanding. You can tell that they love their jobs and that they have a great dynamic among their team! There wasn't a single thing that we would change about our experience in working with them through labor, delivery, and post-delivery care. Every single nurse that we interacted with made sure that they were fully present with us each time they came into our room and they always had positive and servant-hearted attitudes. Along with their genuine kindness and compassion, they demonstrated an ability to be personable but also professional, and we were confident in their ability to provide the best care possible to me and to our daughter before, during, and after birth.
If I had to summarize our experience in brief with the Birth Center L&D staff, it felt like we had an intimate home birth in a setting where we had all of the medical professional support and equipment available to us. We cannot recommend them highly enough and will be returning for our care here if and when we have any future children.

I went to walk in clinic on a Saturday at the Baldwin location and was turned away it was about 15 minutes till 2 which it said open till 2pm I had radiation on my leg and my current cream was not working just wanted to ask a Doctor if I could use something else it was burning they told me iam sorry we are at capacity there was nobody there empty waiting room one person leaving they didn't even call back to Doctor to ask can he just make exception just turned me away I have been a long time patient never been treated this way maybe if you only see patients till 145 or 150 pm you should post a sign or whatever very dispointed this visit would have taken maybe 10 minutes to ask about a different cream.but it seems they were to lazy to even ask. I guess I won't return to walk in again.
I have suffered with planter fasciitis in my feet for two years and tried everything without success. My doctor finally convinced me to try physical therapy at WWH. The PT department was great and very attentive to what was helping and was not. I can finally walk pain free. Very grateful for their efforts and advice.
If you want to get any help avoid this place at all costs. We have gone in twice for my boyfriend having different issues. The first time he went in he was super sick, his eyes were swollen almost completely shut and his lymph nodes and tonsils were huge. The doctor looked at him, didn’t run any tests or touch him at all, told him it was allergies, and sent him home to take Benadryl. He doesn’t even have allergies and had tried Benadryl all week. After that didn’t work, because it very clearly not allergies, he saw someone else and found out he had MONO. He also went in a few days ago with a swollen ankle he can barely put any weight on. This new doctor talked to him forever about a bunch of pointless crap about sports injuries, he doesn’t even play sports. He didn't touch his ankle, check the swelling, or do an X-ray. He sent him home with anti inflammatory pills and that’s it. Also, my boyfriend had to ask for the pill too, he was originally offered nothing and the doctor made it seem like a big deal giving him anything. No advice on how to help it or really any basic medical treatment. I would never recommend these doctors to anyone, if you care about your health go somewhere else and avoid this disaster.
Sister was seen by a “Specialist” ENT
Dr.B Addicks He was very unprofessional for a “Specialist” Very Unhelpful and just basically tossed some prescription antibiotics at her. These made her very ill over the next few days resulting in her having to be seen in urgent care.
When you see a specialist you expect results not worsening of symptoms and a huge question mark over what the actual issue is.
Don’t recommend this ENT specialist!
Needed a form filled out and my primary Dr. Lediju argued with me about filling it out and then didn't stamp it. So frustrated with this place everything is a fight. No compassion. We are the customer remember that.
