This is one of my favorite buffet restaurants ever. The food was excellent, the atmosphere is excellent and the servers were treating me like family. The cost is getting expensive lately though.
Western Sizzlin-the only place where your stomach will be sizzlin more than the old dry food from the buffet. The food was so dry and terrible our group said the pledge of allegiance instead of a prayer because it felt like we were at the dinner table from Christmas Vacation. There were hardly any main courses available-all near empty platters. If you want canned corn with no seasoning or stale bread this is THE SPOT. The bottled water was pretty good though. Heading to Taco Bell for dinner because we left hungry.
We were there last night and my husband ordered a steak medium, it came out blood red. When you cut it, I am surprised it didn't moo. Sent it back and it came back burnt to a crisp. Barely got 3 pieces ate and took it home to the dog. Will not go back. The food bar looked like it had been out there all day too.
I had the porterhouse.
Genuinely have no complaints on that at all. I told them I wanted medium rare and that's precisely what they gave me. I had French fries as my side and it came with the salad as well so all in all it was pretty damn good. it was my first time in a Western Sizzlin and definitely not my last. I enjoyed it immensely
The restaurant stunk when we walked in the door.
The salad on the buffet was brown and wilted and the medium rare steak was hard and dry. I haven’t ate at a western sizzlin in 10 years because of a similar experience at a different western sizzlin location. Western sizzlin is just not a good restaurant no mater what town you are in
The food is just not that good. We went a total of 3 times. I love a good buffet, so I was hoping they just had an off day. Staff was friendly however, and the place was clean.
OWOA used a private room for a membership meeting. Great food and great service. Highly recommended.
The food was excellent and the salad bar was very fresh.
