Cramped beyond belief, barely elbow room. The buffet is in a hallway between diningrooms and the entire hallways like 8 feet wall to wall. No room! Also the kitchen doors in that hallway so hot trays come out with a hallway full of people. You start by getting a tray and going through this high school/prison like lunch line to pay and do your orders. Also to get your drinks and akwardly walk the hallway and through the tables praying no one bumps you. There was tons of tables and also cramped in to appoint where people bump your chair when walking by. Also the buffet was horrible, hardly any kind of a variety of foods. I got a mehh tasting spaghetti and an alright mac&cheese. The salad bars like twice as big as it should be. My buffet price was an average price of $15ish. My cousin ordered a steak and baked potato and they were alright, definetly better than whatever was on the buffet. The servive was friendly but I regret going and wont be back. Actually feel bad choosing this place.
So this was my very first experience at western sizzlin steakhouse…. My first thought when walking in…it was a nice clean environment with friendly an knowledgeable staff and the prices are reasonable as well. Walking army to get in line we noticed all the workers behind the line had on gloves and hair nets and the fresh desert bar build with strawberry shortcake cheesecake, and if I’m not mistaken, a German chocolate cake, they look scrumptious and well put together. We also noticed that the buffet itself was only 10.99 per person but to my knowledge I ordered the sizzling grilled shrimp, and my wife ordered the Philly cheesesteak with the side of rice and gravy and the option to add the buffet for 4.99 that was really a deal maker. and I serve the alley was the best we never wanted for anything she brought everything in a timely matter and of course I had my son she treated him just as if he was hers. Me and my wife really loved the southern environment here we would definitely be back for sure.????????
Always good prices for the food I purchase. Sometimes I order buffet and other times off the menu. The food taste great and customer service always helpful and polite.
Had to ask for a soup bowl, that I should have gotten with my salad plates. Then after I got them one of the bowl was very dirty. The salad bar was not as good as other Western Sizzlin's I have been to in the past. Very disappointed. And my girls beef tips were burnt badly and scorched.
If you’re looking for a great Salad Bar, Western Sizzlin is your place to eat. If you are lookin for a great Buffet with meats and vegetables don’t bother eating here. Stew Beef looked like it comes out of a can. Shrimp were small with lots of breading. I will say the fried chicken was good. Don’t bother going.
Been going here since I was old enough to eat out with my dad. I have always loved their gold dust seasoning for steaks and their garlic toast. They get very busy on weekend nights, but the line moves quickly. Every now and then I get a steak that's overcooked or one that was cooked too hot too fast so the outside is well done and the inside is still blue rare, but the staff always make it right. Great family style atmosphere without the loud music, line dancing and sports on TVs that you get at other nearby "steak houses". Sometimes I want a quiet place to eat where I can converse with the people sitting with me.
On a recent visit my first steak came out overcooked on the outside and completely raw in the middle. I sent it back, they just put it on the grill again and overcooked the outside more and the steak smelled horrible. I sent it back again. They cooked a new one and it was much better. Be wary when you order an extra side. They'll charge you for it and give you very little, as seen in the photo. 3.19 for an order of fries and that was what I got.
I can't ever recall a time when they got much less than a 100 on their health inspection.
The waitstaff are always great!
Got the beef tips with peppers and onions and a baked potato. Really good! Will definitely be back!
First time visiting this location and first time visiting a Western Sizzlin in a very long time. Food is ordered or you can enjoy a small buffet style hot bar. The hot bar is limited, but good for the price and salad and dessert is offered. I choose the hot bar with sweet tea and my boyfriend ordered a steak because he wasn't too happy with the small variety on the hot bar (his first visit). He was beyond pleased with his steak and sweet tea just the way it was cooked. He usually adds additional seasoning and sauce, but didn't have to with this meal. Great customer service from the check out staff and our waitress Wendy was amazing. She keep our drinks full and bought us fresh plates as soon as we requested them.
