Michelle is a great waitress! She checked on me every chance she could! I never had to wait on refills! She was a great waitress and made us feel welcome! The food was great and they have done renovations and they have really improved a lot! I was so surprised how great everything was! If you haven’t been to Western Sizzlin in a while you got to give them another try. It was so good!
Came in last night after an amazing Talladega race and had a great experience. The first plate of food was not super hot, and the meat was a little dried out like it had sat a little too long, unfortunately, but plates 2, 3, 4, and 5 were excellent. Fresh tender meat, crisp potato wedges, and an excellent Mac and cheese. The soda tasted excellent and was mixed well. Many places lose a star for their soda alone in my book.
My server was Jan. She was very nice and took care of me and my table perfectly, even with the large post race rush they received. I will definitely keep this place in mind any time I am in the area and want to literally stuff my stomach with some quality food. I almost couldn't get back in my car. Or out when I got home an hour later.
This was the random lunch buffet I needed! All the Southern style dishes, with a nice salad bar, and friendly staff. I ate my fill and felt good about the price. Nothing to complain about here.
We enjoy eating here every time we come to Oxford. The salad bar is wonderful. The other food is more or less what you expect from a buffet, but the desserts tend to be good. The service is excellent. Super nice people. Always very helpful and kind. And the prices are good especially during weekday lunches. Definitely stop by and enjoy the salad!
Stopped here on the way back from Tuscaloosa a few weeks ago and had the breakfast buffet.
They have a huge spread. We sat in front of a fireplace but it wasn't lit because it wasn't cold enough to warrant it.
It's dated but clean and the service was fast.
Food was wonderful, delicious. Our hostess was very pleasant. She made sure that our beverages were refreshed and we did not want for anything. Overall, experience was wonderful.
A great Restaurant for when you want a buffet styles foods or you can choose from there menu! If you love Grilled foods they have a side for that also! Good prices on their meals everyday! Plus if you want to get a to go box and pay by the pound from the buffet and take home, that is fine too! ***Plus you have side rooms to reserve for your business meetings, birthday party and other things like a possible family reunion! Everyone Be Blessed!
The food selection was amazing as always!! Came in after the talledega race had Alex as my server, never once had to ask for a refill she was on top of it!! Very friendly and great customer service. Will ask to sit with her for now on.
