Wow, I had no idea this chain was still in existence. But, this location was a beacon of light in a super bad storm rolling through the mountains. But, boy these places have not changed at all since I was a kid 45+ years ago. The staff was friendly. There were a ton of food choices on the buffet and the Peach Cobbler was exceptional. Overall, a welcome stop in a bad situation. Glad they were still open and fully stocked up for their customers. Well done!
They only give you chicken and sausage but they give you salad like cow. There is no meat or fish for your dish. They charge you separately. Bad food buffet. I don't recommend it if you come very hungry on this lonely road.
Good buffet. Fry chicken, tew, etc.. salad. Vegg... And you can order a Hamburger other dishes. Good service.
The best buffet I've ever been to! Everything was well-seasoned and very flavorful. The cooked-to-order food and appetizers were just as good. Onion rings with chipotle ranch were crispy and amazing. Rolls and honey butter are addicting! They don't skimp you on the butter.
Service was good and they provided gloves for cleanliness.
Ate here for the first time yesterday. I was hoping that there would be steak on the buffet, but you have to pay for the steak dinner separately and add the buffet at regular price if you want it both. I just chose the buffet, which had a lot of good stuff on it. I also ordered the fried green tomatoes side, and they were absolutely delicious. The remoulade sauce that come with them was awesome. Definitely recommend that. The chicken livers and fried okra on the buffet were also great. Really, I didn't have anything I didn't enjoy. I'd come back through here. $18 for buffet.
This place has the very best food if you like a meat and 3. I have been here several times and it's consistently awesome. I live more than an hour away and it's worth the drive every time. The waiters treat you like your family and are awesome. This restaurant is located in a more rural area. I live 5 minutes from a city with hundreds of restaurants and none of them compare to the quality of cooking at Western Sizzling exit 155 I 24. I will be back y'all.
The Western sizzlin was a great restaurant I just happened to stop in it to rest and I actually wind up eating the food was good did not have a problem with the food out of service as a matter of fact I stayed there quite a while was really in no hurry it was good I would go back there again I haven't been there in that restaurant in a long long time
Good Southern food always fresh, busy at times. Especially on Sunday after church service. Good Fried chicken. Wait staff is good taking care of drinks. Give it a try if driving by for all you can eat.
