Awesome old fashioned lunch spot!! Has lots of good food options with decent prices and not to mention the FREE ice cream option for every meal! The cashiers, servers, and staff are SUPER friendly and welcoming! The rolls are top notch and I got the Philly steak which was very good too! Enjoy this place though a little outdated, fun place to eat!
the fish was delicious but my dad said his cheesy hashbrowns the sour cream tasted old. but other than that it was delish. loveeee the rolls.????????????✨️
Our visit was a pleasant experience. The food was brought out quickly and was done to perfection. Everything was good quality. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend, would go again.
Had not ate here for quite some time, but we’re in town visiting some family and they wanted to go there. It was really disappointing. Tried the pork chops and the steaks. They were all overcooked and horrible cuts of meats. Lots of gristle. One of the worst meals I’ve had. My husband and I didn’t even eat all of our food - nor did our family members. The salad bar was OK. But nothing spectacular. Not sure how this place stays open given how bad the food was. Rolls were about the only thing good - it’s hard to screw up bread though. We won’t be back. The service was great. Interior was dated and dingy.
We went here for my mom's birthday. I ordered a meal and a one trip to the bar. I saw soup on the other side and didn't know if it was included since I hadn't been there in a while. I asked a girl if the soup was included and she told me no. Maybe I asked the wrong way but I was not rude. I asked how can I get the soup? She rudely and sarcastically said uh well you pay for it! All she had to tell me is it was extra and it cost $4.99. I complained about the rudeness to the front and no one ever sent a manager over or apologized or anything. I wasn't expecting anything free. Food was mediocre. I agree with an earlier post the hash brown casserole tasted sour and bad. probably will not be returning
Quite an odd experience. You walk through what appears to be a cafeteria line to order your meal. When ordering the salad bar, you are only permitted one plate and one soup bowl and can only go once. $60 for one salad bar meal, a steak meal and 2 drinks. The steak was small and over cooked. However, the veg beef soup was delicious which is why I gave it 2 stars.
Not what it used to be. Time will tell how well they will do without the buffet. Hopefully their cook gets better at judging the wellness of a steak. Both entrees were well done and neither were ordered that way.
The steaks are wonderful, juicy, tender, and the salads are crispy so things to choose from. Can't wait to go back. Senior citizen discount also.
