This place was disappointing! The limited items on the salad bar and buffet were mediocre. We should have looked at previous reviews and wouldn't have wasted our time. The meatballs were spongy, grrenbeans too salty, sweet potato casserole too sweet and glue, the stuffing wasn't good, powdered mashed potatoes. However, the fried chicken, coleslaw, canned peaches, cranberry sauce and desserts were good. The wait staff were nice and did a good job and the restaurant was pretty clean. Ain't goin there again!????
We went towards closing so we weren't sure what to expect. They had everything out, though they don't offer a large amount of items. The fried chicken was delicious and the best! I would only get that next time. The other items weren't terrible, but seemed canned or prepackaged. I took a star off because they put raisins in the sweet potatoes. I thought it was pecans when I got it, but nope they were raisins. Also, it was stringy. The staff was nice and the place was clean.

Walking in, the place looked like it was run down and hasn’t been updated in years. Waitress extremely friendly but the food wasn’t what we expected at all for the price. The steaks looked nothing like the photo and they don’t use real butter for their potatoes. It was an okay experience. But not enough to go back.
First time in a while I have not liked a place very much. It was a waste of time walking across the street. The place was dirty, trash and whatnot all over the floor and there was a smell that I couldn't place assaulting my nose. The waitress was fine, attentive for the most part considering it's a buffet restaurant. Drinks and plate removal please. The buffet itself?...Where do I start?..The food was bland and average as far as the chicken and potatoes, ect went. Was your typical buffet serving I suppose. The salad bar was horrible at best, lettuce was wilting, the pasta and dairy parts that are supposed to be cold, were warm and inedible unless you want to take a chance and get food poisoning. It was mentioned and they only took temperature of the food and added ice water to try and cool it down... sorry..but once that stuff is warm, you need to remove it from the salad bar to prevent someone from getting sick. The dessert bar was extremely average, basic peach and apple cobbler, some sort of flat bread with frosting that was supposed to be bread pudding? The banana pudding was vanilla pudding with cookies only...no whipped cream or banana chunks or slices. The only saving grace was the Mac and Cheese and only because it was hot. Honestly..if you want better food and atmosphere that is clean and welcoming... cross the street to Don Julio's for some great Mexican food.
I haven’t ate at western sizzler in years. We were working in adel and seen it so we thought we’d try it out. Place is run down and needs to be updated. Definitely has a 90’s feel to it. Employees were super friendly. Food was ok but I’m very sketchy about eating at buffets anyways so I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone and I soon realized why. So as I’m heading back to the bar for my second plate ( I always look at the plates, silverware and cups). As I’m reaching for a plate I noticed a few plates under the one I was grabbing had something under it… so I pick the plate up only to find plates that still had food all over them. I don’t mean a few little specks of food, no I literally mean completely over looked and never made it to the washer so it’s no telling what all was and wasn’t washed. The worse part was when I told the waitress she came over and removed a few of the plates without checking any of the other ones. Will not be back EVER. So just please be aware and pay attention to what you and your family eat
Excellent, cozy place to eat! Everyone was very friendly n food was hot n extremely good! This was our 1st time ever eating here n it was worth it! We had the buffet n will most definitely be back when we are in the area again!
Typically not one to leave reviews, BUT STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY! My husband and I came for dinner tonight, he took a bite of his meatloaf and bit into a bug!! Stay clear of here! Manager did issue a refund, but still not good enough.
