It’s been 2.5 years since I have come back to this place because I avoid it at all cost due to being completely unorganized and only out for $$, not patient care. This morning I couldn’t take the pain anymore so I called the office at 8am asking for an appointment. They called me back at 9:10 and asked me how soon could I be there, I said 20 minutes and they said “perfect come now.” I get there at 9:30 and am told my appointment isn’t until 2pm. I explain that they are the ones that told me to come now so I did. Then now tell me to just sit here and wait to see if they can get me in. This is absolutely ridiculous. Next time, I’ll go to the hospital.
The people are nice enough and the Doctors are too. But their appointment scheduling leaves very little to be desired. I got confused about an appointment time so I called to get the right time for my appointment. It is a nightmare. I call and I have to wait two days for anyone to get back to me.I waited the two days. I call again this time I got to talk to someone in who told me she would put me in touch with the scheduler. I get the scheduler but again it is a recording telling me I will have to wait two days to hear from them. My appointment is two days away. I have to know the day before so I can schedule my van services. This frustration is unnecessary. There should always be someone that can get back to you later the same day or the next day at latest. Two days to wait is ridiculous.
I've been coming to this office for years, I can finally say that no matter what happens to me and my health, I will NEVER EVER return. Each visit I'm there for well over an hour in the waiting room, then wait to see the Dr, then go to checkout and wait again, but can't hear the scheduler talking to me because I have trouble with hearing. This place it is an office set up more like a factory farm for humans. No one answers after calling to them from an exam room after waiting for a substantial amount of time, being left in a vulnerable state because you're undressed from the waist down, but finally when someone comes they get less than 2 inches from a patient's nose to inform them that they're still running behind, but have no decency or respect to update the patient so that they can make sure they have transportation set up to get home. Ironically though, they get beyond furious when a patient is still waiting to get picked up, but can't leave if a patient in a wheelchair is still waiting for their ride outside unattended because they're off the clock. All of this said, they are more than happy to bill you for a no-show because you left only so that you can get a ride home and avoid them being furious that you can't get home when their office has closed for the day. Honestly, if they bother to remove my post, I will just repost it again because potential patients should know how their staff overbook themselves, yet if a patient is 15 mins late, they will not see them and just send them a bill, afterall, money is way beyond important to them than treating their patients with any dignity or respect.
NOT PREVENTING OR LIMITING PAIN!
I went in for botox bladder injections. They anesthetized my urethra and I thought the saline the fill your bladder with would have local anesthetic especially since they tell you NOT to take anything sedative!
The saline had no anesthetic and those are the 5 most painful injections you will ever have in your life!
I saw Dr.Ward for a first time visit and was extremely offended as she told me the reason I have issues is because I’m overweight! I have had issues with fibroids for over 35 years and was not always overweight…. I think that is a poor excuse for being too lazy to do your job and figure out what the real issues are! Being overweight is not the cause of every medical issue . I would not recommend this Dr. and I will not return to this practice ! Terrible Dr. / Patient experience !!! I wish I could write a review about the Patient Care / Medical side of things but this review is based solely on the Patient / Customer service side.
I scheduled a visit for a procedure and the initial consultation in April was fine, with Dr Chazen as the one going to perform the procedure. I didn't find the wait to be that bad but it certainly could have been quicker. It does definitely have a "Herd of Cattle" feel to it.
My procedure was scheduled for late June. I received a message on my cell the week prior letting me know that the Dr wouldn't be able to perform the procedure that day and instead I would either need to reschedule a different day or have a different Dr perform the procedure.
The Monday Morning : My procedure was scheduled for the Thursday, i called back Monday Morning and had to leave a message wanting to re-schedule. The message said I would receive a call back within 48 hours.
The Wednesday Morning : No Call back, I called again and had to leave a message AGAIN letting them know my procedure was TOMORROW and I need a call back to reschedule. Was told by the message I would receive a call back.....guess what... no call back.
Following Monday : At this point I still hadn't received a call back and had to call a third time, after being put through to other people by office staff that clearly don't want to be there I spoke with someone who was willing to re-schedule. At this point I told them I will find a different provider as if their level of patient care is this bad at the initial stages I am terrified as to what it would be during and after the procedure.
Improve your office staff and I think your problems would drastically improve. Leave your office staff to underperform and you will continue to see these problems.
The staff was amazing and friendly. I got a same day appointment. I needed imaging and they sent me right downstairs, the doctor was thorough and attentive. I don’t know what the complaints are about I had a great experience and they were very understanding about my health anxiety.
Dr. Hanzley was very thorough. His staff definitely needs to get it together making up appointments without telling clients. Have you drive there for no reason just to send you away. They need to get it together too big for all the inconsistencies. Keep it real too don’t lie.
