Great location. Close to shopping and restaurants. The room was clean, the bed was good. Could use a hair dryer in the room. It is a Motel, so the finishings aren't the finest, but we were overall happy with the room. It was nice and quiet. The biggest reason I would stay here, while the breakfast is small, this place was just very friendly. The front desk clerk on Saturday morning was very friendly, and helped us out during a family emergency 5 hours from home. The owner then came out to make sure the front desk clerk was being as helpful as possible. Thanks very much to you and your staff.
First, the proprietor is a nice and friendly man. I got locked out of my room no problem, I messed up the TV. He fixed it no problem. Second the staff were really nice, polite and helpful. This is not a top of the line hotel but it’s clean, safe in a good location.
The guy that ran it was so nice. We were there because we lost a family member and we were limited on phones. He helped me the best that he could and I really appreciate him.
Stayed here one night on an unplanned visit. Was thrilled to find a hotel that did not raise the rates during a college football game weekend. The staff was very friendly. The room was basic and clean. It was evident that they are doing renovations.
Nice privately owned hotel. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Newly renovated salt water heated pool. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is basic, but we can't eat the typical "hot breakfast" every day. It's on our list of places to stop for a night or two on our travels to recharge.
Stayed here with my daughter a few months ago, and was very impressed with the hotel and ownership. There was a situation involving a few of my daughter's friends wanting to use the pool, however I completely understood why it was that they couldn't use it. The situation mentioned in the reviews did not go down as described, and at no time did the owner request or demand additional money to allow my daughter's friends to used the pool. Wanted to clarify the review from a few months ago commenting on this.
Recently renovated, the place looks nice. Front desk attendant was courteous and helpful. Room was nice, had plenty of towels and the bed was comfortable. Manager was nice and cared about the well being of customers.
Recommend for short stay for those that travel alone or with a partner.
The lady at the counter was very nice, super sweet. The same cannot be said about the room me and my father stayed in.
Despite the fact you cannot smoke in the rooms our room REEKED of cigarette smoke and we couldn't escape it anywhere. The cleaners put up a single car air freshener which wasn't nearly enough to get rid of the smell.
The shower needed a good clean up, purple stains everywhere from God knows what and a very rusty and old shower knob that needs replacing.
The beds were awful. I personally am used to worse sleeping conditions but I expected better. It was practically a box with fabric and heavy springs under said fabric. They were terrible.
To wrap it up, the room we were in was unpleasant and needs to be fixed up. But it could've been A LOT worse, kind employees and for the most part the room looked nice and was clean. Comfort-wise it was awful, definitely needs renovations.
