I recently stayed here during a business trip. I was weary of this motel from all the previous reviews. They are under new ownership and all the rooms have been redone.
I travel about 60 days a year for work and reading reviews will definitely will help me pick a place to stay.
Western lodge rooms were nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Everything has been redone recently. They are still adding some finishing touches to the rooms/ complex.
I felt safe at this location and it's walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops.
Don't feel nervous from past reviews. I would stay here again. Especially for the price compared to other hotels/ motels in this location.
This was a perfect stay in a very cool renovated vintage motel. Holly was welcoming and wonderful, full of great suggestions, and the room was very clean, with cool artwork and decor. Great location, walkable to everything downtown with easy trail access. The dog friendly aspect made this the perfect getaway!
We had a great stay at the Western Lodge! The GM was friendly and helpful. The rooms were updated and very comfortable/clean. There were plenty of walkable restaurants, bars and shops. Would love to stay again when the leaves are changing or when the ski resort is open!
I did not stay here but recently toured with new management as this has been recently remodeled. Conveniently located on the quiet west end while in walking distance of majority of the shops and restaurants in town. Fresh and clean throughout; will be recommending to all my friends and family visiting in Steamboat Springs.
This place was recently renovated and it was the perfect stay! The room was super clean and cozy and the staff were so friendly and gave me recommendations for things to do in the area! It’s also right off the main street so you can walk right into downtown steamboat. I’ll definitely be staying here again!
Everything appears to be fully updated and renovated, our room was beautiful and very clean, the bathroom and kitchen area are brand new. The two women in the officer were so unbelievably kind! I could not recommend this enough. I can’t belive how cheap this hotel was for how nice it is. The old reviews are not accurate at all.
Newly updated and it shows. Towels were super soft bed comfy and not to fir not sure what to think of shower being back half open lol. 2 ladies running the front very friendly and gave lots of details on the area. Enjoyed a day away from here
Very nice stay, updated and cozy room. Not a Marriott but great value.
