Nice restaurant with a variety of food to choose from. Their buffet is delicious. Must definitely get the salad bar. It's a hit and miss as far as service goes. Sometimes, it's excellent, and sometimes, it needs improvement.
We both got the chicken fried steak and was very disappointed. It was the pre packaged kind and not the hand made one. Reminded me of the ones you get in a school cafeteria. Mashed potatoes were powdered ones and brown gravy was from a can. For the price you pay I figured you would get better quality. We haven’t ate here in years and it used to be a great restaurant. No bread was even served with meal. I’m normally not picky but we won’t come back. Server was awesome on the positive side.
Enjoyed the food, but it wasn’t something that we would be rushing back for. The spinach and artichoke dip was way over oiled, lacked flavor, and room temperature, at best. Cost wise, the all you can eat buffet was the best way to go. The prices are pretty high for the flavor and amount.
It's ok..nothing special. I've tried seven different menu options. The salad bar is real good. Buffet has good days and bad days. Price per person is 20 and up. If you order a soft drink.
Delicious food and awesome service. Had the lunch buffet this time and everything was fresh hot or cold as it was supposed to be. Waitress kept our drinks fulls and asked if we needed anything several times.
Was in Andrews, Texas last night searching for a restaurant before leaving for San Angelo. I had noticed the Western Steakhouse before but had never eaten there. What a great surprise! I ordered the beef filet with a side of Broccoli. Then, they said I could help myself to the salad bar/dessert bar. The salad/dessert bar was amazing! I eat out often. If you’re in Andrews, Texas and your looking for a great dining experience, I would highly recommend Western Steakhouse of Andrews. I would rate my overall experience a 10!
Like coming to this restaurant for their fish Friday and salad bar! If it’s not Friday and your wanting fish get the fire cracker salmon! I started to get their steaks and sadly I’m not a fan and won’t be getting any more. Chicken fajita salad has always been delicious even with the chips they serve with it are my favorite!
My business group decided to try this place. You would think going to a steak house they would have a real beef cutlet for Chicken Fried Steak. Oh no, it was the frozen out of the box chicken fried Mystery Meat. Disgusting and to charge that kind of price. Salad bar had flies all over the food. The lettuce was limp not crisp. Avoid!
