Love the doctor. However, the medical staff put in a prescription order with the wrong strength. I did not notice this until I received the script, which I had already paid for. Unfortunately, the pharmacy won't take it back (even when not opened). The medical staff admits to making the error, but refuses to make a new, corrected order at their expense.
Staff took no accountability for their error and the unnecessary expense to the patient.
I was nervous as I'd only had botox from a plastic surgeon (who has retired!) Thankfully I found Olivia Salinas-she was fabulous! Professional, competent and very knowledgeable. She suggested Dysport, which ended up working better than the Botox I'd had in the past. I needed less injected and saw a difference within 24 hours. I'm delighted with the results-thank you Olivia!!!
My experience with them wasn't what you'd expect from a doctors office. The billing manager stood outside the exam room door until the PA finished speaking with me. He treated me like a thief when I approached him at checkout. It was very hurtful and unprofessional.
The PA ignored all my issues saying she couldn't see anything, even after taking pics of my issues. Her actions told me she wasn't interested or going to treat me.
I called to pay the remainder of my bill only to met with lies. Then, the billing clerk said she'd fix my horrible visit by speaking to a doctor about my issues and calling me after the holiday. I declined, but she insisted.
No phone call and I basically paid to sit in an exam room.
I was there for eyeliner. I told the technician how far I wanted the eyeliner to go on my lid. She did not do that and then informed me if I needed any touch ups I would have to pay an additional $150. I will never recommend them for cosmetic procedures. I just assumed they were reputable and do not do enough research on my end. I am at fault for that.
I scheduled an appointment and was thankfully able to get in pretty quickly with a 2 week wait time. I was taken aback by the need to provide cash up front for a copay, and was told if I no showed would also be required to pay a 50 dollar no show fee which is illegal. I then got multiple texts and emails notifying me of my appointment time and no show policy which I took as a very aggressive healthcare practice. I had to leave work early from my job in healthcare to make it down from the Westside to Montgomery for my appointment, when I arrived I was told they do not accept my insurance and would have to be self pay for a ridiculous amount of money. I did not receive any phone calls or any prior consideration for my appointment which would not be a huge deal if they also didn't fine you for not showing up. Do I get any sort of compensation for missing hours at work and gas for showing up? No I don't, completely unprofessional handling of this situation and it is sickening and unprofessional.
Ive been with Western Dermatology for years. Both of my girls, when they were young saw Dr Mills regularly for acne and other teenage skin problems. They are both way into their 30’s now. I was surprised when i called today to make an appt. I was told since i hadn't been in three years i was considered a new patient and they are not accepting any new Medicare patients. Sad. I have been dealing with breast cancer and have had many many appts. Time got away from me. No consideration for patients that have loyally followed them for years. I know Medicare does not pay well but it seems when you get old, thats when you need your Dr’s more than ever.
Best doctor's visit I've ever had. Fast, inexpensive, and thorough. Loretta Gonzales is one of the best medical professionals in the field.
I absolutely love coming here! Dr. Fossou is so kind and caring and always makes me feel so comfortable during my treatments. I also cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristy the aesthetician and Marissa at the front desk. Both are just incredible individuals in every single way. I will definitely continue to come back here!
