I had a great experience and will return! I sat at the bar and the bartender was so sweet and attentive. I had a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Everything came out hot and freshly made and seasoned to perfection. Delish!
Let me say this has been our spot for several trips and we’ve always had good experiences with the food. However, the staff is completely rude and they do not appreciate the customers are not welcoming. They’re not attentive to you. The bartender was eating chips behind the bar, licking her fingers and never left to wash her hands before making a drink where she touched multiple food items that were in the drink, olives, limes, the straw there was a dog in the bar that was not a service animal. I don’t like leaving bad reviews however, the service and attitudes of the individuals in the bar are poor. It’s a cool spot, but could be a lot better if they would have people that had good attitudes and great customer service.

We decided to have a drink before heading to our stay and found that this place had a wide variety of liquors and a liquor store. I had Jack on the rocks ( I know for shame with rocks), but it was late night, and I had fried mushrooms. My wife had Malibu/pineapple, and wings dry hot sauce on the side with dressing. The staff was very attentive. The atmosphere was as a bar should be, looked like people were enjoying themselves as we did as well. As you see in my pictures, what a bar! I don't recommend anyone under the age of 21. It does have an extensive line of liquor, beer, and wine. Nice place to try. Maybe next time we will try some food, although the appetizers were very good and tasty.
I love the service. Every time I go in, everyone has been super friendly and helpful. The food is great from the Burgers and Philly Cheese Steaks to the Steaks it’s self. I’ve never been let down with my mixed drinks or beers on tap. If your passing through and are hungry or thirsty give it a shot. You’ll be happy you did!!
Great atmosphere and good service. The food is good for bar food and they had a decently stocked bar. The pool table next to the wood stove was an especially nice touch on the cold night we visited.
Fish basket and burger were both good. Service was pretty slow. Had to find waitress to get bill. Inside was very cool. Lots of $autographs you'd just have to see. Will visit again.
Local and only bar in Cloudcroft. It’s usually packed during the weekends or whenever tourists are in town. It’s covered in $1 dollar bills that guests write their names in or a bit and then staple it to the wall or ceilings. It gives the place a fun atmosphere.
They do have pool tables and a dart board. They have a couple of televisions and a digital jukebox you can play music on but it’s usually at a low volume and you can’t really hear the music.
Aside from alcohol they also serve food. It is quite delicious! Their Phillycheese steak is delicious, so are their breaded mushrooms. They have Taco Tuesday and although they are advertised as $1.50 per taco, they do add some fees at the end so you’re not really saving any money. Kids are allowed during the day. Pets are allowed even though many times the owners are irresponsible with them. My family and I once had to sit next to dog poop while we tried to eat our dinner. The dog owner eventually picked it up, like 15 minutes later. The place reeked. I’m a firm believer that pets should stay at home if they are not a service animal.
