Stumbled across this location for lunch and so happy we did. With their specials, we experienced their all day $6 Monday margaritas. Wings and jalapeños poppers were so fulfilling. The margaritas were delicious. Our servers were amazing and helped us out get everything to our exact liking with no issues.
Tried a few different Tacos but the Chimichurri sauce was the show stealer. Very flavorful. Nice staff, music and atmosphere, plus week day happy hour. They do charge a fee for credit card usage which is a downside
I tried the Westchester Taco Grill for the first time this evening. I got a very enticing mailer. I decided to try their delivery service. The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly and good at his job, making sure the mailer was legit. My order arrived at my door ahead of schedule. The delivery guy was also friendly. The hot food was still hot and the cold food was cold. I ordered the Family Taco Kit and the Ice Cream Tacos. The Family Taco Kit came with a massive amount of food. They said it roughly feeds 4-5 people, but it really depends on how much you can eat. I personally will have leftovers for days. It comes with ground beef, shredded chicken, both hard and soft taco shells, yellow rice, beans, and all the toppings (sour cream, shredded cheese, lettuce, guacamole and Pico De Gallo). The ground beef was slightly seasoned and not greasey. The shredded chicken was nicely seasoned and tender. The beans were perfection and were also seasoned nicely. The yellow rice was my least favorite. It was a little dry. Otherwise, everything was tasty in the Family Taco Kit. The Ice Cream Tacos came with 2 in an order. I think they could have had a little more cinnamon surgar and fewer chocolate chips as they were a bit overpowering in the flavor combo. Plus, it would have been nice if they were a bit bigger. That way, it would be easier to cut in half to share. Overall, it's a thumbs up from me. I am happy with the service and quality of food the Westchester Taco Grill provided. I do believe I'll go in person next visit to check out the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Great Set up. Awesome music. Nice staff. Delicious food taste & presentation. Definitely would travel back to this area for this restaurant. SIDENOTE: guacamole & chips are a must!!!!!
simply astonishing service food and drinks!! from entire staff !! servers waiters and manager! very quick with table cleaning which you know that they keep an eye to make you happy unlike other places that ignore you and go to your table “when they get to it. so courtesy and kind just the best i would definitely recommend!! food is of great taste!!????
The food was amazing. I loved also the peach sangria. The staff was very attentive and the place was very clean and nice.
I'd love to give a good review but I can't. I tried to look at their menu online and was unable because their website does not permit you to see it and, instead, it forces you to choose pick-up or delivery. What about people who want to see it but plan on dining in? Oh well, thankfully we have lots of other great choices!
Since indoor dining is banned in the five boroughs, I decided to escape NYC and drive 27 minutes north to try out Westchester Taco Grill.
Definitely worth they " mini-trip".
Situated directly across the street from Iona college WTG has a perfect quarantine maintained restaurant - offering warmth, good food, amazing drinks and the NFL playoffs!
What more could you ask for???
The spicy strawberry margarita with an extra dose of jalapeno sauce was perfect as were the wings which were super crispy and fresh as were the chicken tacos and the steak bowl.
I'll definitely be coming back!
