The rooms are amazingly nice! The kitchens are the best part of the whole room! The front desk worker though wasn't too professional. He saw my dad and I coming and immediately locked the front doors. Which I found very disrespectful. Then he came outside and spoke to us about rooms being unavailable. Earlier in the day I had called and they had rooms available. He took my name and number and said he'd call me if the rooms were booked. He never called to tell me. So I wasted 20 minutes driving there for no reason!
Save your hard earned money here's my review of my stay room smelled of smoke and incense, burn holes in the sheets and comforter, 2 microwaves 1 works 1 doesn't worked a 16 hour shift as a nurse only to have there no English speaking staff to bang on my door just as I slept for 1 hour to spray for bugs yes there were roaches in my room when I asked if they could come back later they didn't understand. After they left I got a rude letter from the front desk management who are BTW never at the desk u have to call a phone number to reach saying I could not speak to their staff rudely????? They didn't speak English noir understand it, no clue as to what they said to said front desk management who were never in. Couldn't speak to a live person so I checked out early leaving their keys in the room since nobody was at the front desk. Found a much better place called the vue in palm harbor its the same price and is water front with a pool. Don't waste your time here. Raw sewage leaks out to entrance don't walk through the standing water in their parking lot either.
Me &my husband had a nice stay in this hotel for almost 3 months we had stayed here,we love the room most especially the kitchen &bathroom,our bed is nice &comfortable &also this place is close to businesses &it’s also a few minutes walk to my workplace.,so we had a great stay here in this Tampa location of West Wing,thank you so much for for accommodating us in our few months stay in Tampa. God bless!
Under New Management already renovating hotel, seeing improvements. Great location restaurant everywhere and 5 mins away from Busch Gardens.

????Had mold in the bathroom/shower for months making it hard to breathe. Hotel did nothing even when we asked for help repeatedly.
????No ventilation/working fan in the bathroom
????Room wasn’t actually clean at the beginning of our stay (why would we bother cleaning the crap out of it when we left)
????Roaches everywhere; if you don’t see them lucky you, just know they’re in there… (outside doors don’t stay closed at night- normally broken)
????Flooding (sewage water) inside building due to burst pipes. They will not pay for your damaged property if this occurs.
????Less than great people staying there- we heard a gunshot late at night from just a few rooms away.
????Witnessed the receptionist call the police to evict someone- she watched the whole process from down the hall with a smile on her face… Does it really make your day to watch people become homeless? True I don’t know what happened but you have serious problems if you find any joy in that- hope this gives you something to think about.
????Power outages
???? Receptionist (same person as above) entered the room while we were gone at work. The only reason we knew they were in there was bc the AC was turned off when we got home. When confronted/questioned about it, she scrambled for an answer – saying that it’s their right to inspect the rooms. Not sure how legal it is when you don’t tell people before OR after you’ve done so. *They posted a notice that they do room inspections on the 1st, but this incident happened well after that date. This seems like harassment if they enter for non-emergency purposes outside of the inspection date THEY set.*
Just leave a note… it’s not that hard.
????Every interaction with staff was strained or outright hostile- save two employees. Cleaning lady should get a huge pay increase and the receptionist with a newborn was always nice, helpful, and respectful. Thank you ????????
⚠️Construction on a massive building right next to the one we stayed in~ the new West Wing. Wouldn’t be surprised if the older building is immediately condemned after the new one is finished. Makes sense why repairs aren’t taken seriously if they’re pumping money into another project.
‼️If you’re staying here just be extremely careful and document everything. ‼️
Was checked into a room with a roach infestation! Manager was rude seemed to not care.. They knew good and well nobody should've been checked into this room. Roaches in the outlets roaches in the fridge and microwave and roaches crawling in the bed. Roaches were everywhere crawling into my belongings. I'm highly upset and disappointed I don't understand how this hotel has such a good rating. The curtains look disgusting ???? like someone wiped their booty all over them. Horrible experience and waste of money for a place I can't even sleep comfortably in because roaches crawling in the bed. Now I have to worry about leaving and bringing roaches in my car or to the next place I go too. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
This is a decent little long stay/extended stay spot in Tampa. It's location is central to a lot of the things I have going on and I usually know several people staying in different rooms. I've never rented a room here buy I've been a guest many times and the establishment is pretty decent. I can't comment on showers or anything like that, but it's a good place to chill and take in the university area.
No ma’am ! A complete waste of money ! It makes absolutely no sense that this establishment would continue to rent these rooms knowing the disgusting conditions. Roaches , bedbugs , and the lack of cleanliness. I paid 500 for a week and the first roaches were in the bed and And I had to leave and spend the night elsewhere due to these conditions . If you are a fan of filth and disarray This is the perfect place for you . In no way shape or form is this This place worth what they are charging . PATHETIC
