Went there for Veterans Day.
Service was absolutely fantastic! Staff were super nice, accommodating and attentive.
Food was great too. We had a limited menu of chicken, meatloaf with lots of mushrooms bathed in gravy, Cole slaw and pasta salad and more. Others in our party had menu items that looked quite good too. Lobster tails were kind of small but if you know about lobster, big ain’t always better.
Looking at the menu, I’d say prices are quite affordable for most people on an average day. Special events will be more, but I’m confident that the quality of the food will be the same (excellent) on any given day.
I highly recommend this venue, even if it’s just for the service alone. I can’t say enough about the people that park there. They are great!
Give them your time and I’m confident you’ll be satisfied.
Stopped while in Wisco for an authentic supper club. We had the blackened ribeye and prime rib with au jus, side salad, twice baked potatoes, and clam chowder …. Probably won’t eat for a day or two. Was prepared well, good service, and leftovers.
Had the most amazing time at the seafood buffet night! It was an amazing experience! We will be back for sure!
My husband, Father and I are all veterans. We thought we’d try the Veteran’s buffet. The food was absolutely horrible. The chicken had no taste. The meatloaf was like spam loaf. They usually have a dessert and there wasn’t any this year. it seems every year the buffet gets skimpier and skinnier. The staff were exceptional.
Went to Santa breakfast and was seated on the patio in December. There was more than enough tables near Santa, which was the entire point of going. Server spilled coffee all over my mother in laws purse and did not offer a towel or clean it up, just a “sorry”. Breakfast buffet was the quality of school cafeteria food, and I wouldn’t even have been that mad about it if there wasn’t a distinct reek of feces on the patio. This place has never seated us inside regardless of how busy or not busy it is. We are constantly treated like second rate citizens when we dine here and the food simply is not good enough to have that attitude. I hope west wind attempts to model itself after other supper clubs in this state instead of just being good enough to stay open. Will NOT be returning. The Santa and Mrs Claus were very nice though! Maybe they could teach the staff to carry the same attitude.
Visited on a weekend. Had a reservation, but upon arriving it was pretty much walk in and not too busy. Unfortunately they were out of clam chowder and then out of the wild rice turkey meat loaf. Service was good and waitress was very kind. Time to get food was quite slow given the small dinner crowd. Prepare for a 2+ hour dinner if you get appetizer, dinner and a dessert to go (due to limited time had to get it to go). Food was pretty good but definitely a bummer they were out of what we decided upon looking at the menu.
West Wind Supper Club is the cat’s meow. We stopped in on a lovely Saturday for some lunch and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. I got the street tacos and they were delicious. The chips were also tasty and fresh. However, usually stuff with the word “street” in it has something to do with a street or the streets. For example, the video game Street Fighter 2 takes place on the streets, the film Wall Street takes place on Wall Street, etc. Street tacos, however, are just tacos. You can eat cheeseburgers on the street, but they’re not called street burgers. Anyways, they were delicious and I would eat them again, silly name or not. I also enjoyed the music selection they were playing very much. I’ll definitely be returning one day, maybe even for supper.
Very good food, slower service, but it is a super club, very clean. Very good drinks. Would highly recommend, pricey. Taylor was our server, she was very nice.
