We had a custom cake order from here for my brother’s baby shower. The cake was beyond beautiful and tasted amazing. Everyone was super happy with the final product.
The team was very open to calling me and coordinating the design process and providing any receipts or order confirmations I requested even though they do not do signed contracts outside of wedding cakes.
Unicorn Blood Espresso Dark Matter Coffee! Quick service with a smile. The pastry selection is a huge win. We found this Bakery by visiting them at The Acme Hotel lobby. Another great find!
I went to pick up for my order. It waited for a bit to see host.. it was during weekday around 1pm and my order wasn’t ready. I ordered some bakery stuff, pastries and donuts. It was dry and not really flavorful. I really like west town bakery in river north but somehow it wasn’t good as good as river north one. Because I may order different bakery stuff…
Stopped here while exploring visiting town, ask someone I met on the street for a breakfast recommendation. Boy did this place not disappoint. The server Nicole was a sweetheart as well chatting with me for a while, giving me the history of the area since she had grown up here. I had the hullabaloo omelette, which was probably the best omelette I have ever had topped with sausage gravy, which was also the best I ever had , And home fries, which were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back.
Amazing spot for brunch. Food is great. Drinks are great. Bakery items are so good (especially the coffee donut!). On top of that: Customer service is superb - Nicole went above and beyond in our experience. Can’t wait to be back again.
Baked goods are rich and delicious at a good price. We got pointed in this direction by the dispensary next door. It was 25% off there if you bought a baked good. Solid way for businesses to collab and we got to try great new food. The workers were cool and we're going back for breakfast. (Will update after).
Update:
Breakfast was phenomenal. Lots of options (for vegetarians and vegans too). Large portions so you don't leave hungry. We sat on the patio, nice cool morning, great service. The lattes are wonderful.
Awesome bakery! Such a cool/hip environment! Great baked goods selection. I have not eaten regular food here because it’s usually too busy to get a table, but I can vouch for the bakery! Coffee is just okay- too acidic for me. But the baked goods are a WOW! They have outdoor seating on Chicago Avenue.
Fantastic food! We ordered the tofu tacos and fruit bowl. My wife is a vegetarian so to find a great breakfast option for her in the neighbourhood is a blessing. The servers and folks at the counter are super nice too. I needed more almond milk in my coffee (which I bought from another place) and they gave it free of charge! Not to mention they have the best hash browns i’ve ever had. We’ll be regulars here..
