Delicious and very affordable. High end atmosphere with a locally owned feel. Steaks were seasoned perfectly and cooked well, mine was a little overcooked, but still delicious.
Sides were all great. Corn on the cob was a street corn style. Mac n cheese was excellent.
We were in the mood for steak and decided to stop in for dinner. I called for a reservation, but they do accept walk-ins. The restaurant setting is very nice. We were sat at right away. It did take a good 5 to 10 minutes until a server came to greet us. Once they came, we already knew what we were going to order. We started with the fried avocado, they brought warm bread, and a house salad. The fried avocado was OK. My daughter enjoyed it, but I think the batter was too much for me. My husband and I both ordered a New York strip. The steak was delicious - full of flavor and juicy! No need for steak sauce! That's when you know it's very good. I highly recommend if you are in El Paso!
Andres took great care of us and we had great food in a beautiful esthetic inside. Atmosphere has great music at good volume and big TV screens.
I had a fantastic steak at West Texas Chophouse. It was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor, juicy and tender. Service was also very good. The decor and setting is very nice, overall all a great place for a meal. I had the 8oz. Filet with a grilled shrimp skewer, and mashed potatoes. A superb meal, and ate every bite. Only thing that could be better is the drink pours are a little stingy. Was drinking Grey Goose on the rocks and it was definitely a stingy shot of vodka. I do recommend this plas as the food was very good and will come back.
Amazing meal, lead by a fantastic server! Andres was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. My order sadly couldn't be made as requested due to a seasonal item running low which was understandable, but the food that we got was impeccable, and much appreciated! All in all, wish I could rate higher than 5 stars for the absolutely amazing service I got tonight even with a completely packed house. Thank you! Can't wait to come back!
We've been to this location several times before, however, this visit was the least impressive.
The food was okay, my wife ordered a medium rare steak, to which she said the best part of her meal was actually the baked potato.
My tacos came with rice, that looked and tasted like it was made from a packet.
The food does not justify the prices.
Our service was fair, and the atmosphere was very pretty of course.
But to end on that note, this location is not it.
Andres did a wonderful job and took care of us. The ribeyes were phenomenal. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon!
I love West Texas Chop House. Food is always great. Service is always on point. I never have to wait long for my food or refills. I went today and my waitress Danielle was excellent. She kept making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Danielle for another great food and service experience any this location.
