Had the best experience ever at the hospital. The admission staff was friendly, the nurses and techs were efficient, knowledgeable, and caring. My radiologist was extremely gracious and took the time to explain my procedure, answer questions, and explain every step during the process.
I have extreme anxiety during any medical procedure, and the entire staff made the experience one of the easiest interactions I have ever had.
The labor and delivery was amazing for my daughter! We had not planned to go here but she wanted to stay after being admitted (they gave her a choice to go to UC if she wished) and I’m glad we stayed! The nurses were absolutely the best I’ve seen and dealt with! The doctor that delivered did an amazing job as well! We really couldn’t have had a better experience ????
I came into the ER Monday night with right flank pain, and vomiting. Every single person I encountered in the ER was extremely professional and kind to me. They ran several test to find the cause of my pain which ended up being my gallbladder. I was moved to 2 North until my surgery on 10/30. My nurses were absolute rockstars, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to care for me. This was my very first time having a procedure and their kindness helped ease all the worry I had about going into surgery. I was very well taken care of every step of the way from the ER, to CT, 2 North, and the OR. I’m at home resting now and couldn’t dream of my hospital stay going any better. Dr.Day was my surgeon and he was also phenomenal! I appreciate all the staff who took part in helping me ( there are too many to name) but I will never forget their compassion and would recommend them to anyone!!
God bless each nurse, doctor, every one in this hospital. I would highly recommend this hospital. The food is excellent even the crackers honey grams I can't say enough all the way to the house keeping. Was in the Dyersburg hospital yesterday morning for bladder cancer removal with Dr Zamzow my urologist doctor. Everything went exactly how it should. Doctor, hospital staff everyone was professional, very caring of my needs an checked to see if my family with me needed anything. We Thank you!!!
Very disappointed in ability to offer care during a holiday weekend. Two family members had to be transferred to Jackson because they don't have a surgeon on staff over holiday weekends. A third went in with severe pain from a hernia on Christmas Eve. They sent him home with pain pills. He died on Christmas Day when the hernia burst. They seem to think that healthcare can take a holiday.
Very bad experience today when Dr Huff who is the ER Doctor told me he was ordering several test to try and find the problem with my sick daughter. He left her room and did not order the test nor did he return. After approximately 4 hours of just sitting there, we were told by the nurse we could go home. I told the nurse we had not done the test yet. She said Dr Huff had not ordered any test and he had already left. I asked to speak with the doctor in charge and she refused to see her. What is going on with this unethical and unprofessional treatment. Please, I need some answers. It was very obvious she was sick.
Wow! What can I say!! These people were AMAZING. From the ER Dr to the floor staff. I've told many people that if I need to go to the hospital, take me to West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital (I'm from Memphis). The Administrator, Scott Barber was incredible. His assistant, Stephanie was as well. The nurses were some of the most knowledgeable with whom I've ever experienced! Awesome place!
