During a family trip, we stumbled upon this restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by what it had to offer. The atmosphere is delightful and perfect for enjoying a variety of seafood dishes together. It provided a comfortable setting for our family to relax and enjoy a meal. I particularly loved the selection of seafood, which was fresh and expertly prepared. Additionally, their blueberry beverage is a must-try—it’s refreshing and adds a unique twist to the dining experience. The combination of great food, a welcoming environment, and the opportunity to create family memories makes this place a fantastic choice for seafood lovers.
As we tendered into Bar Harbor, we saw lots of lobster tenders in the water. This could only mean that we are having lobsters for lunch. We stopped here and was surprised to find it has live fresh lobsters. We ordered them and couldn't be happier. The lobsters were fresh and sweet. Overall, we had a good experience here

We have been to Bar Harbor twice in the past two years and visited the West Street Cafe both times. The restaurant is very cozy and perfect on a cool fall day. Upstairs has a nice bank of windows on the front wall that overlooks the street and glimpses of the harbor.
We went with lobster mac and mushroom soup appetizers with a bowl of clam chowder and it could not have been more delicious! They have a good selection of local beers too and we're priced reasonably.

Came in for blueberry pie and a drink. For this, you sit at the bar. Pie was delicious and warm and French vanilla ice cream with it was perfection. Drinks were well-made and bartender was very friendly. Glad we stopped in.
Went there for dinner under the assumption that they served steamers and was disappointed. We did have fried clams and fried shrimp with broccoli and french fries. All were very good. Waite staff was perfect with just enough attention. Decor is modern and airy (windows are open). Right across the street from the beach area.
