Best WLM Reviews

WSHC is the best! Offers many things that other places do not have. The staff are great and super kind and helpful. The staff that clean are very hard working and they never stop! The members might not know your name but it feels like a very welcoming community. I love the pool and that they have a jacuzzi, dry sauna and a steam room. Come check it out!
Great challenging classes (Power Hour with Courtney, TRX with Lori, Strength and Conditioning with Terri, Yoga with Bridget), eucalyptus sauna, smoothie bar, and kids’ babysitting service. Makes our entire family healthier. Tight parking after work. Overall friendly staff and facility with lots of different equipment.
WSHC has the nicest pool in West Seattle, which is mainly why I'm a member, but one of my favorite parts of this gym is the locker room! It's super clean and comfortable.
Here are some observations as a member of the West Seattle Health Club:
1. Machines always out of service
2. Soap dispensers in locker rooms don’t work
3. Paper towel dispensers in locker rooms are jimmy rigged with a screw and never work
4. Rarely have towels available for members, always out of small or big towels
5. Entire club is run down, patchy paint on walls, old carpet and the locker rooms haven’t been updated in years
A few of us have submitted internal feedback forms to help resolve some of these issues over the past few months but no action has been taken.
Management, do better!
I will give 5 starts, but definitely because of the morning crew. Nigh crew is a nightmare. They don't know nothing, they do not try to help you, they ignore you when you talk to them at gym... Gym is clean, machines are great and morning people are awesome. I wish they have more enforcement to people clean up after themselves because it's pretty disgusting. Overall, good gym.
This place is amazing. Super clean and very friendly staff. Working with a trainer named Eli who helps with classic bodybuilding weight training. He also teaches Olympic style weightlifting. He is full of knowledge and enthusiasm for what he does!
Nice spacious facility with towel service, but the main floor has as really jumbled layout, especially in their bodyweight/kettlebell/medicine ball area, which manages to both be quite large and also have no distinct space to use that equipment where you're not actively in the way. You even frequently see people working on mats in the hallway by the door - even though there's a bunch of dead space over past the twenty or so treadmills.
Love this gym and the people who work there are so nice and helpful. I’m hesitant to give it 5 stars only because I don’t want it to get too busy! The kids club, steam room/sauna, and weight racks are my top favorite things. The new equipment is really nice and there’s are plenty of stationary machine options. I also like the group fitness room - I’ll put my peloton app on in that room and get it done. Other gym peoples are mostly nice. 10/10
