Worst dental office in the nation. I’ve been coming to this place since I was 16 and ever experience I’ve had has been a horrible one. They did my wisdom teeth extraction and used nothing to numb my mouth not to mention they put some sort of metal tool on to the side of my tooth and then pushed it out (whole time I’m in pain and can hear the tooth cracking and braking) and then I had a cleaning scheduled and something told me to just schedule elsewhere but i didn’t follow my gut and now I’m left with pain in my mouth because they asked if I was having pain anywhere and when I told them they said they would make it better only to make it worse to the point I had to stop them from going any further and I left. Worst dental office to ever be built. Place should be shut down.
First time going to West Nyack Dental, and my brother and I had the best experience. From scheduling my appointment with Jessica, she was very polite, knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. Arriving at the office, the front staff greeted us and made us feel welcome. As new patients, you walk into an office scared and not knowing what to expect. But, West Nyack Dental made us feel comfortable, and welcomed. We had a consult with Dr.Cronin, the general dentist, he is very friendly, and went the extra mile to make sure my brother got the proper treatment. He was very processional, and friendly the minute he walked into the room. His medical assistant , Cameron was very sweet , and caring and made my brother feel safe.
We also saw Dr.Speilvogel, and from the minute he came into the room, although he was wearing a mask, I could see his smile through his eyes. He explained everything to my brother about the procedure and even gave me additional knowledge. Although my brother is only 10, I really liked that he made him feel important, and asked him questions, he acknowledged him.
He made my brother and I laugh, and made this experience a great one! His medical assistant was also very lovely, she took care of my little brother while he was sitting on the chair. My brother and I walked out very satisfied, comfortable , and overall very happy with the service and the staff. I am so happy I made the appointment, and I will definitely recommend to my friends, and family.

Had a great experience with extraction of a wisdom tooth, had to pre-book a few months in advance but the procedure itself was less then 20 minutes, place is pretty old, staff were attentive,

I'm truly dissatisfied with this facility.
Despite my dad having good health insurance, the doctor initially assured us of coverage for both temporary wax dentures and permanent dentures of superior quality. The rationale behind recommending a temporary denture was to allow two months for healing and bone growth after extracting bad teeth, ensuring a better fit for the permanent denture.
However, after two months with the temporary denture, continuous inquiries revealed that the insurance was pending. Shockingly, after waiting for six months, we received an Explanation of Benefits stating my dad could only have one set of dentures in five years.
Had we known this earlier, we would have opted for the permanent denture, even if it meant going without teeth for two months. Now, he's stuck with the wax denture for another 4.5 years, and the whole situation is both absurd and based on false information.
My family have been utilizing West Nyack Dental for over twenty years, we were given top graded professional care constantly, Doctor Cronin is very sensitive for your overall health and expect his staff to cater to your medical needs as well.????
I beg to differ with all of these negative reviews! I have been with West Nyack Dental for over 3 years! I have had impeccable care , no long waits and pleasant experiences’! Of course they are busy but I get timely appointments and excellent care !!!
Ugh. I’ve been in horrific pain. I had an appointment today at 3:00pm
I had to wait in the extremely cold air conditioned office until 4:20 to get xrays. I was told I will need a tooth extracted due to an infection below the gum line. I was given two prescriptions, penicillin and 800mg of ibuprofen to be taken with 600mg of Tylenol. For some reason, I was told that the soonest follow up appointment will be in 26 days. I’m considering an option to find another dentist, because I don’t think I can tolerate the pain for the next four weeks. Dr Corbin was indifferent, and while I was waiting in the office, I was googling how to extract the tooth myself. The place is too busy, and only one dentist is available.
I wish I could give a 0. This was actually one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in any kind of medical office. It’s disappointing to know that anyone doing clerical work would not run your insurance coming prior to an appointment. Not only was my appointment at 5:15 they weren’t even able to come up with an answer regarding my insurance because it was already 6 o’clock. I would never recommend this office. They were playing rock music, it felt greasy, the girls in the front were rude, unprofessional and had been speaking about the patients once they left the lobby. Don’t go here if you want to have a good experience. Mind you it’s next to a pizza shop and it doesn’t even have a sign indicating where the office is located. Huge red flag why is it hidden next to a pizza shop in a building with miscellaneous stores. If you ever want to get your teeth done please go to Ramapo oral surgery in Suffern. It’s an absolutely amazing to have your teeth removed. And they would recommend you to the most qualified dentist in the county.
