No reason to be rude to someone delivering food to one of your patrons at your run down looking lodging.
The staff mainly. We have stayed here for years. Close to where we need to be when in town. Always clean and if there is a problem, they always make it right. We feel comfortable and safe here. Rooms are dated, but it serves excellent purpose for our weekend stay. We will always come back as long as this family owns it.
I would give this place a 0/5 but that's not an option. This place was the most discusting motel ive ever been to, the microwave had food in it and was not clean at all, the mini fridge had a cockroach in it and there were some in the bathroom, stains on the wall and on the bed sheets, writing all over the walls, there were burn marks on the comforter and on the mattress its self, there was a used soap bar in the shower. This place is by far the worst and would not recommend staying I will 100% not be back
Our room was very clean & comfortable.
The staff is really friendly. The price was unbeatable compared to other places in town.

My wife and I have been there three times. Is it a great place...NO. With my wife not taking classes at the Campbell Folk School the prices are far cheaper than the rooms at the school. The price is about $20 per day cheaper than most places in the area. The owner could spend some $$$ on repairs. For $20 a night I can put a towel at the base of door to keep the cold air out. It is a room with a bed, bath and TV. We are only there at night and it is within our budget
The motel allowed dogs for an extra $10 which I was grateful for. The room was clean, and I saw no bugs. There was no cable TV. They said there was Wi-Fi but it did not work, when we approached the manager/owner about it he wasn't very nice about it. Overall I would stay again if I had my dog.
Everything was booked over the 4th of July, another hotel told us about this motel. After reading the reviews I didnt want to stay but it was getting dark. The man was very nice and we was surprised when we open the door he had the air conditioning on and it was cool already, the room smelled really clean it didnt have that air freshener smell to cover up musty odors, it was clean! We had plenty of towels and wash cloths, shampoo and soap, water cups ,I don't drink coffee so I don't know about that item, I pop popcorn and the refrigerator kept the milk cold. I even wore white socks to see if the floor was dirty my socks stayed clean Lol! I looked for bed bugs but didnt see any or where they had been, The ice machine was out front by the office and it was new, the old one beside the other rooms doesnt work maybe he should move it or put a sign on it telling where the ice machine is. As you can read I really look a place over even the fancy ones..
He gave us our senior discount $67 was what we paid. People needs to tell the truth when they give a review, this place was ok I would give it a 5 star except for the AC it was noisy. A nice place to stay..
This is the worst motel I've ever stayed at... filthy- very dirty. Bathroom had used wash cloth and towels on the floor, as well as blood splattered on the floor. Owner was rude when I asked for more toilet paper after paying for a second night. The room was disgusting- a black skull drawn on the wall, ripped panels and carpet, plus more. I've stayed there numerous times and always a dirty room with bad service.
