I have been bringing my son here since he was born for all his health needs. From yearly check ups to vaccinations. And just for overall health concerns just recently he had a rash on his leg. He will be 10 soon. I too have also came to clinic myself for my women check ups. I am not working at the moment and I was able to apply for a sliding scale discount. All you need is the correct paperwork which the clinic provides all the information you will need. They will also be helping me apply for Medicaid for my son. This clinic has many locations in Katy and Houston... Thank you for your time, patience, and for all that you do for the community ❤️
WORST COMMUNITY CLINIC EVER!!!! The patient and costumer service is horrible. The people that work there act like they hate their job, they don’t even look at your face when you’re checking in. Providers? Oh gosh they are never available or they reschedule your appt at last minute. Making an appt over the phone? Just be prepare to be on hold for long time and they will even hang up on you. Honestly zero cares about their patients and service, they just want to charge you and your insurance. Don’t chose this clinic!!!!! Go somewhere else.
Highly recommend this place. I saw Dr. Candy Espinosa for my entire pregnancy and postpartum. She was truly amazing. She listens to all concerns and helps you out with anything you need. Alondra (front desk) and Penelope (medical assistant) are also great. I’ve never had any issues here. I’ve never had to wait for long to be attended and even the call center has been helpful with any questions that I had. They know me on a first name basis and always make me feel welcomed.
I've had consistently terrible experiences with this location when trying to fill my prescriptions. Despite providing detailed information about my pharmacy and notifying the front desk multiple times, they repeatedly send my prescription to the wrong location in their system. This has forced me to make multiple calls or extra trips just to get it corrected, which is incredibly frustrating. It’s clear from the reviews that this is a common issue, and unfortunately, my experience has been no different. I typically don't leave negative reviews, but this ongoing lack of attention to detail compelled me to share my experience to help others be aware.
I was told once my IUD came in they would give me a call. I wanted a few weeks then called them myself to check on the application status. Turns out the IUD was already there and they just hadn’t called me. I was told that someone would call me back to schedule an appointment but I didn’t get any call back. I scheduled an appointment online myself but when I went in for the appointment I was told my regular doctor doesn’t do IUD insertions. That was never mentioned online or in person before. When i tried to schedule an appointment I was told I would have to wait another month. This is very frustrating because I had to wait months before to even get an appointment to apply for the IUD. I am giving them 2 starts because Dr. Candy is amazing but if it wasn’t for her, I would give 1 star.
Dr. Romero Fuentes is fantastic. UNFORTUNATELY, the staff is garbage and rude! They dont give a damm about you. Refused to give me teat results. IF ITS POSITIVE THEY ARE LIABLE! If you need help I do not recommend this place.
This place just needs to shut down and get bulldozed to the ground. I only came here because my wife visited the place years ago before it was remodeled and increased staffed. Both my wife and I just wanted to get our physical and blood work done. My wife felt a bit uncomfortable because the doctor was real persistent about her getting a pap smear even after she mentioned she had one a year ago. But my wife keep refusing. You know it gets really weird if you have to say no more than twice. When asked who does it, he answered that he does. You know this world is sick and everyone is on edge, but they should at least approach this situation with "ma'am we have women doctors on the facility that will perform it if you're not comfortable with a male doctor." Then the same doctor saw me and I felt like I was talking to someone who was filling in for a doctor. If he didn't come in there with a scrub I wouldn't have thought he was a doctor. Wasn't really knowledgeable and seem just odd. And then the other issue is the billing. I paid all out of pocket no insurance so I'm expecting to pay a good amount which is fine. I paid 100 for the visit and 155 for the blood work up front. Then as I expected I got another bill to pay 360 for all the other things that wasn't covered. What got me the most confused about was when I paid the 360 online, this other page popped up and stated "Other expenses may not be covered, would you like 280 to automatically charged to your card?" The hell I do! Now I'm wondering since I've made my payment with my card are they going to process this 280 anyway. Do yourself a favor and go to a well trusted facility. My wife was disappointed in this place because it wasn't what it use to be.
Ms. Candy, Juanita and Alondra are great! As for the rest of the office they need to work on communication. They dropped the ball with my Nexplanon application which delayed the process by a few months. (Typically a 4-6 week wait but took 5 months from February 2024 to July 2024). I would have went somewhere else but didn't want to risk waiting longer or having my application denied with my new provider as advise by Juanita at the clinic. It was very disappointing and frustrating just to have them assume that I'm having problems in my relationship when they have dropped the ball so many times. The staff looked right at my significant other as if he was guilty and lead to me defending him because he accusation is far from true. I also asked for a physical restriction form for my job while pregnant but didn't get a call to come pick it up until my baby was 2 weeks old. It was never ready at any of my appointments while pregnant.
If you call it takes forever to get someone and when they do answer they don't follow up and call you back. I will NEVER come here again. I'm glad to have found a new provider.
