Best WLM Reviews

So small cozy hotel in a good location. The rats running across the steps outside the building is apparently typical Washington the staff told me.|Had they not been part of Hilton they might have gotten 4 stars from me. But with a tilting floor of 1-2 degrees (don’t place anything roll or ball shaped on a surface and expect it to stay) and bathroom fixtures not actually fixed, then it’s only so so okay
Pass on this hotel. It's mediocre at best and does not deserve to be in the Hilton Tapestry collection. For the price, you can stay at many much nicer properties within a few blocks. The rooms have more of a vibe of a crappy roadside motel, than a "luxury" or "boutique" property.
The room was dirty, stains on the bathroom walls, couch and carpets. The room didn't even include any cups for water, let alone bottles of water.
The blinds barely block out light, so your room will be bright all night. If your room faces the alley, there are also garbage trucks coming in and out all night.
The cuban bar in the basement is pretty good, but that's the only redeeming quality. You can go to the bar without staying in this dump though.
Pros: great location, very convenient for Georgetown, Foggy Bottom and DuPont Circle and walkable to the Mall; spacious, comfortable rooms.|Cons: old, scratchy, mismatched towels, very poor breakfast unworthy of any hotel, slow WiFi would not meet the needs of business travelers.|I might stay there again but I’d go out for breakfast.
Tapestry collection includes independent hotels that are supposed to be “upper upscale” per Hilton. This property is not quite pulling off a boutique hotel or upscale vibe. We had a hard time finding it because it has too many names. Tapestry? Hilton? West End? Georgetown Inn (this popped up in map app as we drove up and down the street). Lobby was unmanned, but was clean and decent. Staff friendly. No parking, so you can park at the Ritz for $40/day. Room was spacious and clean (bathroom small and lacks counter space though). Windows are old and thin, and you can hear every noise from the street as many other reviews mentioned. Rum bar in basement is a packed hot spot at night, and also the breakfast location in the morning. Breakfast was our biggest gripe. There is what looks like a self-serve buffet laid out, but instead you order a la carte off a paper checklist. We were so confused! Individual items are overpriced ($12 eggs, $10 fruit, $5 bagel). There are some breakfast sandwich options they bring from the back, probably microwaved but not too bad. We’d rather pay a flat fee and use it like a buffet. The best thing is the location which is near metro stations, GWU/Georgetown, and many restaurants. Overall mixed feelings, and I doubt we’ll stay here again.
The best part about this hotel is its location. It is supposed to be an upscale hotel but it was not.
The rooms are spacey, the countertop in bathroom is small.
There is no onsite parking and you have to park at The Ritz for additional fee.
We loved staying at the Dupont Circle Hotel close to great restaurants and the Metro station. The location can't be beat. We had a room facing the front of the hotel which was huge. It included a separate sitting area and a kitchenette. Although the room was next to the elevator, it was quiet.
A decent, average, reasonably-priced hotel in a good location with nice staff but limited on infrastructure and not equipped for business travelers. There is no parking on the premise, so the closest is underground parking at the Ritz Carlton (Lot 243 at 1150 22nd St. NW). Using the spothero website, you can get daily parking with in/out privilege for $36.93 for 24 hours. Hotel would not offer late check out for a Gold member; which tells me they are not staffed outside of normal working hours to handle any late check outs if they are close to being fully booked. Gold members get $18/day, which is more than enough to cover for breakfast as the most expensive item is $12. No gym. I think this would be suitable for tourists who want to walk around and take rideshare or the metro to/from places. If one had to wear a suit in hot and humid weather and had to walk to/from the offsite parking or the metro, I would not choose this hotel.
Staff at the front desk were quite unfriendly. I am a DIamond member and felt like I was beinhg trated like an Expedia customer. Breakfast was in a dingy bar and room was mediocre. Wont be staying there again.
