Best WLM Reviews
So, my fiance decided to try here after hearing good things.
I had the tenderloin sandwich with fries as side. The service was good, and the staff were friendly.
The food was okay. The fries were the thick, crinkle kind, obviously fried. The tenderloin was also thick, kind, and fried. Indiana is typically famous for large, thin tenderloins, so this took me by surprise. The flavor was okay. The inside was a little mushy. Maybe it could have been cooked slightly longer.
The restaurant was nice.
We had a family gathering in their back room for. I reserved it a few weeks ahead. They had everything set up and ready to go when we got there. The food was great as well as the service.
It was a good diner experience. I got a Rueben Sandwich and it was more of a chopped meat sandwich. Fortunately the pies were spot on and all we could think about is coming back for more pie. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and the service was great. We would go back.
The best onion rings I've ever had! Always get them when I eat there. The best potato soup as well!
Their food is awesome, salads could be better with more to them n better lettuce but overall good place to eat n awsome people. Door dash pick ups have been improving.
We read some reviews before going there, not all were positive.but based on our pre COVID experience,we wanted to see how they were doing.got there for lunch, had a BLT and fries. The wheat bread was toasted well. The 6 pieces of bacon were limp and chewy, but I forgot to order them crispy. Service was great. The restaurant was clean. It was a good experience and would go back.
This place has the best food around town. They have some of the best fish and tenderloin around. I work in the area and usually come in and get take out orders on saturday nights and sumtimes thursday and the girl that helps me always goes the extra step to make sure I am cared for. Everyone else seems really friendly too and this place just has a great vibe
Service was GREAT!!! the lady I had was so patient ???? and understanding with all the meal modifications our party of 10+ had.
Being from a bigger city the restaurant decor was dated and highly used yet they have been operational and around forever. Must be doing something RIGHT ????
