Attended a birthday celebration. The servers were very attentive. The food was tasty and very good portions. The appetizers were even delicious. I had some great drinks from the bar. Very satisfied and will be back again.
Dine-in was great! Love the vibes. The dishes reminded me of my abuelas food.
My husband also said it was nice. We will visit again soon.
We enjoyed: Cuban bread, Arroz con pollo, Ropa Veja, Croquetta, Flan & Beer.
I’ve honestly had better Cuban food. Their presentation is good, but the food is ok. I could see how the food is good for someone that isn’t exposed to the culture. But for someone who is, it’s very mediocre.
The croquetas were too fried and breaded, the tostones were too thick, the beans weren’t as flavorful, the plantains tasted frozen inside, the rope vieja had good flavor but the meat wasn’t fresh, and the flan was ok.
You've got to come here for your fall off the bone , tender goat and beef stews. So good. Highly recommend
When we arrived, the bartender told us to sit wherever we'd like. We went towards the back where they have high tops, but he stopped us and said that those tables weren't big enough for our group of 4. So we went to another part of the restaurant where there were 2 groups of 4, and he told us we couldn't sit there because it's for bigger groups. So our choice was to sit next to a screaming toddler. The waiter was not very attentive, and there were several instances where my father in law had to get up and walk to the bar to get items we needed.
I would highly recommend trying this place out! Prices are great and the atmosphere was wonderful! I had the Ropa Vieja and my husband had the Lechon Asada. They were both $16.99 and came with your choice of 2 sides. The flavor was top notch. Service was wonderful and we didn’t have to wait long for drinks or our orders.
Neither one of could finish our meals.
Just a side note but the hot sauce is absolute fire and made at the restaurant.
Dear Management!! This morning I came in for a breakfast sandwich and Cafe con Leche. As usual the food was amazing but the service was TERRIBLE. The guy was to busy looking at his phone to fill my water or grab my Ham Croquettes that were obviously done. Because he went right back and grabbed them and brought them to me after I had to say something. The worst part was when I went to pay. He didn't deserve a 10% tip and your lowest tip on your machine is 25%!!!! That is BS. Excellent service gets 20%. This was no where near Excellent. It's not your customers responsibility to pay your employees!! Please fix you tips to what they should be at 15% ,18% & 20%. If someone wants to tip more they have the option. Yes I could of tipped less but it's hard when your guy is standing on top of You.
The food was ok I have had a better cuban sandwich. My friend had a chicken sandwich and it was a small piece of meat and mostly bread.
