It was great. New owners are doing a great job. Nice crunchy fried chicken and big salad bar, and everything was fresh. Approved place to go if you like big salads with lots of fixings. The brunch has thick crispy bacon, crisp hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, french toast sticks (crisp as well), biscuits and gravy, and sausages... Go give it a try. Its about $15 per adult and between $3 and $11 for kids depending on age.
I was totally disappointed... I had a family member come from out of town, and we ordered $100 worth of wings to add to our family dinner. For 75 wings, there were only 2 sauces in the bag. The chicken was over cooked, or cooked in old oil and had a bad aftertaste. They also had a burnt, weird smell.
My friend was the person who actually referred me to this place and raved about how good everything was, so I took her word and placed a carryout order. I even brought her some wings to try from our order, and she was also disappointed. Saying that the wings she had before was nothing like this and actually apologized to me for referring me to give them a try.
The positive aspects are cleanliness, friendless, and prompt service. My order was ready on time.
I was the one hosting the dinner for 20 people and was embarrassed and had to apologize to my family for serving them these wings. Of course, they understood as it was all of our first time trying them. Not to mention, I drove 45 minutes to and from to serve my family

When I called they said the name recently changed from Ponderosa but everything was still the same and that was a lie the entrees word limited the buffet was also limited I would say half of the items that Ponderosa has we were there for about 45 minutes as we were about to leave is when they brought out the taco station not that any of us were interested in tacos but it was the point the entire purpose for my trip was the bread pudding and the rice pilaf which were both disgusting the rice had onions Ponderosa does not put onions in the rice the bread pudding had the same flavor but it had been out way too long it was extremely hard crusty and dry we drove 40 minutes from St Louis I wanted to try the seafood buffet on Fridays but hell no I'll go to Red lobster
Sat down to eat , watched a girl in the kitchen , prepping something with her hands , she was tossing it , so must’ve been some kind of salad or macaroni something ????????♀️..long black hair , ALL DOWN, NOT PULLED BACK AT ALL !!!!!! Just laying past her shoulders. That is absolutely disgusting !!!! When she came out of the kitchen, I said something to her like you can be in the kitchen and have your hair long like that while you’re cooking! She just gave me a filthy look. I said no that is disgusting. You should have your hair pulled back.!! LOST MY APPETITE RIGHT AWAY ON MY FIRST PLATE ! Asked to see a manager, some young girl came out, I made my complaint. She didn’t say sorry or ANYTHING . She’s like you just want your money back… UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!! So of course, you are now blasted all over Facebook!!!!!!!!
It was uh….it was not good.
We went in with high hopes because of the warm-meal-hometown-cookin’-small-business vibe advertised and were met with unseasoned food straight from the can in a bleak dining hall. The buffet was dirty and the food looked as gross as it was. The macaroni & cheese was just cheese soup with some noodles. They had a seafood pasta that was mushy and drowning in butter. The good news is that fried chicken was decent. But the apple cobbler? The Apple cobbler was a war crime.
Wesley Rodgers is not someplace I ever need to go to again.
Elvis Tribute artist Everett Dean put on an exceptional show. Then owner Justin Price got up and sang a few songs and really blew me away.
Staff and Justin made us feel like family.
I had a wonderful night. Thank you all.
The salad bar snd fries chicken were amazing! We were there for Everett Dean night. The entertainment atmosphere was fun and filled with talent and the staff took great care of us. You can tell that Justin and his staff really care.
Chili was dried out. Great fried chicken. Salad bar best of all. Wings were overdone. Surprised not much of choices with vegetables, breads, side table had nothing on it. Plenty of tasy deserts.
Buffet should have more of variety. All in all, food was good. Surprised not very busy for dinner hour. Maybe more of a variety.
