Paid extra for the jacuzzi so my wife could relax away from the kids. It didn't work, other than that and limited parking space for the back rooms it was ok.
We were notified of a discount that was being offered for the event we were attending, but because we booked online, they didn't even consider giving us the discount. Bad customer service. Check all your options before renting. The only thing we actually liked about it was the location.
Enjoyed our stay- room was clean ,spacious and bed was so comfy! Neto front desk clerk very welcoming and courteous. Location was great ! Will definitely be back!????

DO NOT DO NOT RESERVE HERE Worse experience ever arrived at 3 30 got kicked out by the owner by 4 00 pm with my kids because we got accused of putting gum on the sheets we were going to sleep in which make no sense when I complain about the sheets I get called to the office and with out hesitation he kicked us out’ and of course denied me my money back according to his version it was because on my booking it didn’t put I had an extra kid’ which was said when arrived and paid for the extra person’ staff was aware when I checked in an again paid deposit and the extra person fee’ horrible horrible don’t book here guys the owner is a mean horrible rude unprofessional person
I chose it because I was alone and wanted something inexpensive. I had stayed there about 4 years ago and it was a little better, so I tried it again. It was cold and when I got in the room I realized that the main heating system was completely turned off and a small desktop heater was trying to warm the entire room. I had to go back to the office and ask to have the big heater turned on, which they did reluctantly.
The complimentary breakfast was a non- starter. I walked out and purchased my breakfast elsewhere.
My first stay at Weslaco Inn. Check-in was easy, efficient, and quickly completed. I was given the information relative to my room, parking, Wi-Fi, and times for breakfast the following morning.
The room was tastefully decorated, and the furniture was fairly new and clean. Bathroom fixtures are in good condition and clean. The sink area is separate from the bath area, which I prefer that design. The only improvement I would recommend is that the towels and washcloths need to be updated.
The bedroom area is designed very nicely with plenty of room. There are two queen beds nicely furnished with decorative covers. There is a refrigerator, a microwave, and 4 cup coffee maker, which needs some attention.
The Inn is quiet, with lots of rooms and parking. There is breakfast in the morning starting at 6:30 am. Breakfast has waffles,which you prepare yourself, pastries, cereal, coffee, toaster, and some fruit.
The Inn is located adjacent to the main street going to the International Border Entrance, a few miles away.
Overall, the Weslaco Inn is a good choice; nice rooms, good parking, and good service, although I did not see an employee at the desk later in the evening when I had a question.
Great bang for the buck. My room was large, clean, and comfy. The grounds were clean and the landscaping was meticulously cared for. I would recommend this place for sure. The one thing that was lacking would have been the continental breakfast but with the money you save on your room, you can do yourself a favor and go to Sevilla cafe.
