Every bad thing in these reviews is true, from the filthy terminal, to the terrible DM's. They have changed the company name 3 times, and yet, nothing has seemed to changed. I worked for DTS for 6 weeks, what a terrible experience.
Great company keeps me busy gets me home love the trucks love the shop the problem is always fixed love the dispatcher kevin saftey Jamie is awesome, would like to see some more dedicated account customers and branch back out to otr states with more drop and hook loads the only thing i dislike is the routing around tolls but at the same time the tolls shouldn’t be gouging truck drivers, also the guarantee pay needs to come up a few hundred or cpm needs to come up a few cents i can only say that for the local regional side because the shuttle drivers are paid hourly and the regional on road drivers get more miles but personally i cant bring home more then 750 a week after taxes i need around 200 more and thats fair pay for a 14 hr clock 70hrs weekly and i want to run would love to do 3k miles a week i just wanna drive
I worked here years ago, but I will admit it overall was a decent company although,there was one of the Safety person's in wich I just couldn't see eye to eye, my needs were met and I got home when needed. I'm sure they have improved since I worked there 9 years ago.
I worked for Murrays 20 yrs ago loading plate on their red trailers for John Deere at the ipsco plant. I never had a quarrel with them. I'm glad to see they are still up and running strong.
This company loads up its review site with employee reviews. I worked for them a couple months.
Their dispatchers are rude and temperamental. They lie to you about the lies they tell you.
They use short mile program for pay.
The company employees all back one another and treat the drivers poorly.
Dispatchers have no driving experience.
The terminal is filthy, old and has a gravel drive.
I quit and they called me up for rehire.
Every driver I met was dirty, hungry and poor.
This is an excellent company to work for, everyone treated me as human. Worked there for 5 years and would still be there if not for a major medical issue with me that prevents me from driving trucks. They took care of me during thus event that happened while out on the road. I'm still in contact with them today. I can't speak highly enough of everyone in this company...
Great company to work for. Over 100 years of combined experience in dispatch alone. Bob Murray treats you like you're one of his own and goes out of his way to make sure your needs are met and expectations are exceeded. The dedication to the employee's here is second to none. 5 stars all the way.
My husband Jerry works for this amazing company. It's not easy being married to an OTR driver and he's worked for several companies in his 12yrs driving. He always ended up overworked, under paid, disappointed by empty promises and has missed so many important things. Wenger is a complete 180 from any company he's ever worked for. Good pay, easy to understand pay structure, nice trucks that are kept in top working order, actual home time and above all a true work family. My husband comes home for weekends happy, relaxed, secure and isn't stressed out about leaving back out. They have helped us with getting our first mortgage, supported my husband by allowing him extra time for the delivery of our twins and even called to check in on me. As if all of that weren't enough they're going above and beyond anything I've heard of to take care of their Essential Workers during this pandemic. If you're a driver looking for a company with a heart or a business looking for a hauler that truly cares about their drivers this is your company! Thank you Wenger for making our family part of yours.
