Got a $5 meal yesterday - my chicken was wrong (bbq instead of buffalo), and the cheeseburger they gave me was completely inedible. It tasted the way leather smells. Idk if it had just been sitting around or had fallen on the floor or something, but it was absolutely vile. I couldn't even eat it. I am so disappointed in fast food these days, especially the garbage we get in Helena. Even the fries were hard and stale like they'd been sitting there forever.
As McDonald's and BK race to the bottom in terms of quality I expected Wendy's to still be decent, not to have beat them both to scrape the bottom of the barrel.
Taco Bell, despite taking an hour to get your food here, remains the only edible fast food in town.
The staff were nice, so that's why there's even 2 stars, but man was this a bad experience otherwise. They were slammed, so I was expecting a bit of a wait. I walked in and there was no line but I waited at least 5 minutes to get to place my order. Then I waited almost exactly a half hour after I ordered before it was ready.
This next part may be on me for not double checking the order after that fiasco, but when I got back to the hotel room I find out that the baked potato with sour cream and chives didn't have any sour cream, or even butter. Just potato and chives. I would've gone back, but they locked the doors while I was still waiting on my order placed at 19:34, and they had to unlock them to let me out. I guess they close to walk in customers at 20:00.
Also, I don't know if this is a Montana thing, but there was not a hair net in site. Some staff were wearing hats or visors but that didn't keep their long hair back. Thankfully everyone I saw was wearing gloves at least.
I don't normally review fast food and don't usually disclose dates, but the crew on 8/30/2022 at 9am deserves a shoutout. I needed a snack and had been meaning to try the new Wendy's breakfast items. I hit the drive thru here and ordered a chicken biscuit sandwich. The order taker was super nice. There was one car in front of me that moved quickly. I had my food almost instantly upon paying. The staff were super nice, incredibly quick, and made a good sandwich. Fast food has gotten so slow most places it was a shock to get good fast service.
The cashier directed us to pull up so they could finish our chicken sandwich, but there were no waiting spots for delayed drive-through customers, so we ended up causing a blockage of traffic.
All they spots after the drive up are handicap spots. Even one delay spot would make a huge difference, even if it was the closest to the street and furthest from the door.
Adding insult to injury, my burger was mediocre, though my brothers chicken sandwich was hot and good, apparently.
Cooker on nov 6th @7pm made me a chicken sandwich with one bun lol get your crap together its fast food not that hard to make a sandwich.
Everytime we go here I couldn't be more pleased with the service, the order I placed, the price, and the cleanliness overall. The employees are always so nice to us when we enter The Establishment or go through the drive-thru. There are a few I know by name cuz they are just so friendly to me when I am in the restaurant, Corrine and Josiah are the absolute best and I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind and friendly and helpful to us when we make the trip to town and stop in, also Andrea and Honor are so kind and helpful as well, I don't really know too many of the other employees names but I just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work and for having such an amazing crew ????
Ordered a son of the baconator with no mayo and got something completely different with lots of mayo on it. Ordered a cheeseburger doublestack biggie bag with no bacon and there was extra bacon on it. Tried to call them to speak to someone and no one would answer the phone or hang up. I am so mad and awful because they always mess it up I’m not going here any longer and I wish I could have my money back
This is a good Wendy's. The service was fast. I only got a Frosty but it tasted fine and wasn't melted.
