A Food Inspectors Dream Destination - Avoid If You Value Your Health.
We stopped in here recenty after a long drive on the way to Florida, it was approximately 9PM - I don't think we have ever been in a dirtier, grimier, grungy restaurant, ever. We should have left but were so hungry and tired we just pushed forward.
There was food all over the floor in the kitchen, bits of fries and debris under the fryers, surfaces covered in filth and the entrance door was so greasy and covered with hand and fingerprints it could have been featured as a showpiece in some law enforcement museum for taking evidence at a crime scene.
The staff was all in the back doing who knows what, and the woman who took our order was dopey, checked out, and slow as molasses.
Dining room was filthy, the irony was that there was no one else there, so the staff could have taken the opportunity to clean like hell, yet this did not happen. We had to line our table with napkins just to sit down. Crumbs and debris all over the floor - drink cup lid holders covered in grease and bits of ketchup on the counter area where condiments are served. Thankfully the utensils were spared as they were individually wrapped.
It's clear this place needs to be shut down for several days and literally scrubbed top to bottom, and the staff either re-educated on food safe practices, or replaced altogether. Wendy's should be ashamed to have a franchise location representing their brand so poorly. We will never be back I can guarantee you.
Such a disgusting travesty - thank God we didn't go into the bathrooms, I can only imagine. **AVOID AT ALL COSTS**
Service is almost always pretty good, and the food is usually prepared as ordered. Tonight we ordered a Son of Baconator that had no bacon on it and a sour cream and chive potato that came with no sour cream. Not cool, and not worth spending 30 minutes driving back to have the problem fixed.
This was the dirtiest fast food joint I have ever been in. Wendy's used to be a great place to eat at, but this one is under horrible management. All the trash cans were so full that customers were leaving their trash on the tables everywhere. They looked like they had plenty of staff working, so no reason someone couldn't be cleaning. Entrance doors were filthy, bathrooms were filthy. The kitchen floor had buns and food debi everywhere. We ended up not ordering two frosties and leaving. I don't think I would ever eat food from this establishment under it's current management.
Restaurant empty but all tables were dirty, floor is sticky and not clean, garbage has food all over it. We asked for table to be cleaned and we had to finish cleaning it as the worker left food on the table. Food was fresh but place needs cleaned!!
I would like to say that reviews are important in my opinion. I am a store manager of a retail store near by. So I would like to leave a good one. Most people will not leave a good review, they only leave bad ones. I went to Wendy's today about 2:00 and the drive-thru and the parking lot was packed. I took a chance though. It only took me about 5 minutes to get where you make your order. And took me about 5 minutes to pay and get my food. Not bad! Months ago it would have taken 10 minutes to just take your order and way way way longer to pay and get your food. Ordering inside was even worse. It was horrible and I quit going there! Thank you Wendy's for earning my business back and thank you to the Wendy's employees in Carbondale!

I've never had a problem with this Wendy's until tonight. I'm not sure what the girls name was at the window but she was super rude and my boyfriend went to tell her she didn't give us a straw for our drink, but she opened the window again and she gave him the bag of food and said here you go have a good night and closed the window really fast so he couldn't say anything. Also, there was no ice in .y drink and next to no sauce for my meal. Unfortunately, not very happy with the service this time.
Ordered 2 meal deals, got the 4 spicy nuggets that I'll eat but my fiance didn't get the 4 nuggets with their meal, which was the only part they wanted (nuggets and fries for them, while I got two single cheeseburgers, nuggets and fries. considering I'm a foot taller and eighty lbs more this works out for us)
They hate spicy food so they had a burger which is nbd but if we pay for food try actually giving it to us? like I've worked fast food for years bro reading a screen and counting to four twice isn't exactly hard work.
Did a simple special order of no ranch add mayo to an asiago grilled chicken sandwich and got a fried chicken sandwich with ranch... Ironically the employee was very friendly during the purchase so I didn't think to open the sandwich while still in the drive thru. Unfortunately, we were on the road so I didn't realize until we were well away. Lesson learned! Block the damn line if you have to... CHECK YOUR FOOD & Make my meal right!
