I had a very demeaning experience here. I walked over to Wendy's because I had to use the restroom & the Christmas Mouse doesn't have a public restroom. After realizing there was no toilet paper in the restroom I sat by the counter for several minutes while being ignored. It wasn't busy just for reference. I eventually asked for some help & asked if there was any toilet paper. I even offered to put it in the restroom because it's not a big deal. The employees were extremely rude & when one asked another she yelled across the whole restaurant that she knew they were out & so what? She said it was my problem. It was so rude. I can't believe they treated me like that just for asking for toilet paper. I had to grab napkins out of the front area just to wipe because no one would help. The employees here are rude & nasty & won't even help with basic necessities. I feel like they should have some kindness lessons & have some basic decency for people coming in.
The atmosphere was clean and uplifting. Willy was amazing! He made sure we had everything we needed. His personality would make you want to come back! We do not live in this area and wish our Wendy's had staff like him. Thank you Willy for such a pleasant visit!!
During my visit, I observed two employees smoking what appeared to be marijuana right outside the restaurant entrance. The smell of the marijuana was very strong and noticeable, even from my car, where I had my 15-year-old son with me. This created an uncomfortable and inappropriate situation for both of us and raised serious concerns regarding the professionalism and safety standards at this location.
First of all, we came in with cash and they told us we couldn't order up front with cash. We had to order with the kiosk or whatever it's called. You key your order in and pay with a card. We made our order then about 15 minutes later they came up and told us half of the stuff that we ordered was not available even though it was showing as available on the screen. You could tell by the workers attitudes that they hated working here and noone here made any attempt to be helpful at all.
Pulled up at exactly 9. Website says they close at 12. Car in drive through in front of me and people eating inside. They tell me they’re closed. I ask “for real?” and the “lady” behind the intercom gets rude. Don’t go here, employees fake being closed to avoid working.
Maybe not as bad as the Wendy's on Monticello but pretty close. I don't understand why when I go to Wendy's in Williamsburg and order a sweet tea I often get whatever the crap is in the Machine versus real tea. And apparently ice is at a premium at the Williamsburg stores because they never put any in there. And both of these Wendy's have the worst fries of any Wendy's ever been to. They're always floppy and never crispy. Also my salad had some liquid rolling around in the bottom of it. Not sure what that was and I'm not sure I want to find out so that's going to go in the garbage.
Poor service and didn't give me my military discount got only 2 straws when I had 3 meals. Wendys is known for its military discount worldwide. Also, they had me pull up to wait for my food. Fries were cold. Terrible service!
This is the worst fast food restaurant in Williamsburg! I can't say I've ever had a problem with the actual food, but the service is terrible (the Lightfoot Wendy's location is a close second). The employees are often rude and it's common to wait more that 10 minutes for your order.
Save yourself time and drive the extra 5 miles to the Monticello location.
