You know I love the food at Wendy's which is why I went to my local Wendy's last night at 11pm (Google says open til midnight) but low and behold the lights were off on menu board, and turned down in the restaurant but looked like the employees were just hanging out and chilling inside. No sign up with an excuse of something wrong or closing early for a Christmas party, just simply could not get a bowl of chili and mushroom burger like I wanted. Sadly disappointed
That was some kind of experience.
Holy Cow. Passing through Lafayette on our way to Chicago on a Saturday and decided to stop here for lunch. Hadn't had Wendy's in a while and it sounded pretty good.
When we walked in the dining room was pretty well destroyed. Dirty tables, the drink station was wrecked, and a couple trash bins were pushing maximum density.
We got in line to order and it then became apparent what the reason for the catastrophe in the dining room was. Not only did they only have one register open, but that cashier was also tasked with taking care of the dining room. He was also tasked with refilling drink cartridges in the drink machine.
I actually felt sorry for this guy, because during a Saturday lunch he was taking care of everything in the front of the house while a not insignificant amount of staff roamed around in the back. During the entirety of our visit he was the only person to come out from behind the counter.
My wife ordered a salad and I got my usual: A Single (no modifications) with fries and a drink. We were third in line to order. The poor guy on the register was pleasant, but you could also tell that he was being run ragged.
Our food was delivered in about ten minutes and was delivered accurately. My burger was rather sloppily assembled, so I had to fix that before I could eat it. The fries were ok. Remember a few years ago when Wendy's said they improved their fries and that you'd like them more than McDonald's? Yea...not the case.
To add insult to injury, as we sat eating our food a bus pulled in to the parking lot. Fortunately we were about done, but I started to feel even more sympathy for the young man on the register as he was alone, out front, doing the best he could.
thanks for getting 4/5 orders wrong, food cold, threw 4 slices of cheese on the patty and called it good. Wasted $50. Waste of money going here
The food is fine. Probably better than most of fast food chains, but the drive through is always a hot mess. They mix up your orders, they over charge and then get an attitude with you when you point it out. I ordered a some french sticks with a small drink and another small breakfast english muffin and it was over 17 dollars ????♂️. Drive to another Wendy’s is my recommendation.
How is it that I arrive at 9:30 and the doors were already locked when it says that it closes at 10 for carry out I’m a semi driver and it is hard for us to try to get meals at a decent time. A place closes early.
Like for real. You’re guys all just ripping carts in the back? How did you manage to mess up $50 worth of food. Nothing was right. Stop getting high, and make my food right
Food was litterly cold, we live approximately 4 minutes away from the store. The cheese on our sandwich was not even a slight bit melted. Our fries were cold.
The employees handing out food in the drive-thru were rude and never said anything only handed me a bag then turned their back before I could ask a question. The pre-ordered and prepaid food was not even hot. Very disappointing.
