My wife and I are visiting Independence, Ohio. We are staying at the fabulous Red Roof Inn on Quarry Lane. We were out shopping , and became hungry for a good burger. My wife did a search , and found that the Wendy's dining room on Dockside Road is open till 10 p.m.
The atmosphere of this Wendy's is remarkable. It is very modern and classic at the same time, if you will. The artwork on the walls was inspirational and beautiful.
The staff are so outgoing and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable.
The employee who served us was so outgoing and accommodating, it made me feel as if he was a long time friend.
The food was delicious. The French fries were hot and salty , just the way we like them.
Our order was perfectly made , even napkins were included, and no ketchup on our burgers. Restaurants always overlook these details for us it seems.
The dining room was spotless, and quiet , and quaint.
The outside of the building can be mistaken for a bank , or a City Hall if a downtown metropolis. I give this place 5 stars and a 10 out of 10 on our foodie scale.
We will definitely be back soon .

Ordered the Mushroom, Bacon and Swiss burger. Burger was okay but had very little of the garlic sauce on it. As in not enough to even taste it much less add moisture. Fries were just warm and lifeless so not worth the carbs or calories. The drink was wet and cold though. Server was nice, polite and professional. The restaurant was spotless from what I could see.
I'm going to guess that the Burger Blues was just a fluke event. The other 4 times we have had this particular special it has been excellent. The fries are a common problem at most Wendy's locations though and has been for quite awhile now.
What a horrible experience. Fries COLD new fancy sauced nuggets, if fry oil is the sauce taste you were going for, NAILED IT. Took 30 plus minutes to get my "fast" food in the drive thru. Told my bill was $21 got to the window was told $15 and then given 2 orders of food because they had NO CLUE who ordered what or what order they were on. Rest of my food and the wife's plus the "extra" bag we got all went in the garbage. But the employees sure seemed to be having a jolly old time. Will never be back to this location.
Slowest Wendy’s I’ve ever been too. Not sure what’s going on with staffing. But it’s all bad. Get help. 30 minutes for food is unacceptable. I can get food faster in a restaurant that I have to sit down at. Fast food means urgency. They lack this for sure. Oh and all I ordered was a burger. Never coming back.
lazy / unproductive / poor customer service this establishment goes out of it's way to be rude to customers. on a consistent basis when pulling in the drive-thru they proudly announce their only taking door dash or online orders only. close this place immediately.
My husband and I stayed in the area and decided to walk over and have dinner inside of Wendy's. The staff especially the manager that night was very friendly and went out of his way to take our order and make us feel at home!! Our food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Will be going back for sure!!
My taco salad today at Wendy's...needless to say I only ate the chili.....I didn't want food poisoning....
Order a spicy chicken sandwich with no tomato extra pickles. They took off the onion and add extra extra mayo. Tried calling phone line is busy which means the phone is off the hook so they can't receive calls. I didn't get a receipt because the young man seem to have a nasty attitude about working the through window. He kept slamming the window when he opened and closed it. Food too pricy to not have it made correctly. Ask for fries with no salt and they reheated old fries.
