A couple of friends and I came to this Wendy's restaurant right off of Loop 337 in New Braunfels on a Sunday morning. The parking lot was empty. So did the restaurant.
An employee was changing something on the menu board. Since one of the panels was removed, we couldn't see the prices. He handed us some laminated menu pieces. That thing was so greasy and sticky. I lost appetite looking at them.
The order came out and food was good. I wonder if that restaurant ever fill up. There were not many tables and it looks like it hasn't changed since Cov!d pandemic.
Honestly after ordering and walking through to find a seat.. I should have known to just ask for a refund and leave. There was not one clean surface in sight. The floors were covered in dead bugs, water spills at ever turn, and the food was far from good. We decided to try to bare it and we shouldn’t have. Ordered 3 meals and all had measly dime size mayonnaise dollops, shriveled tiny pieces of lettuce and the driest chicken comparable to Popeyes biscuits and not one hand gloved or any food safety practiced. All three meals that were ordered were sub par and likely will avoid this Wendy’s at all cost in the future. A total waste of $40.
I had a disappointing experience with Wendy’s mobile ordering. I placed my order at 1:10 PM and arrived at the store at 1:27 PM, expecting it to be ready. I had to go inside after being told some items were unavailable. I was instructed to pull forward and wait. It wasn’t until 1:58 PM—nearly 30 minutes later—that I finally received my order. The only compensation offered for the delay was two cookies that were so hard they could have broken a window. This experience made mobile ordering feel entirely pointless.
Every time I come here, I always get treated so great! There is a particular worker who is always putting a smile on my face! I can’t recall her name but I will edit once I find it out! ♥️
Wendy's have had the $5 meals for quite some time. Finally, other fast food places are joining in. The food was reheated when we ordered, so not fresh. But also, it was fine for $20. Service was great. All the Staff are great at the front counter. But none of them clean. So we are the only family there and the kids are goofing off and there are tons of dirty tables, wrappers on the floor, the drink station was sticky. That is disappointing for whoever owns this franchise. Can't trust staff to work is becoming an epidemic in NB.
I use the app for points and to order. I don't think they see the regular print off or something. Every time I have to ensure my order is correct. Also I paid to upgrade my drinks to a large today and guy seemed like he thought I was wrong and it was a small. It was definitely large. It's every time I order through the app there is an issue. Super frustrating and I tend to go McDonald's because I never have this issue ordering through the app with them.
The service was awesome! The manager was very attentive and kind as well as the servers! The food was good, fries were hot, and big plus the dining area was clean! We appreciated the hospitality!
The evening we got back from vacation and we went somewhere else but they had issue with their friers so we went to WENDYS after not eating there in a few years.
Had to say the taste was really good and we tried the pineapple frosty. It was ok except the pineapple was all at the bottom.
