12/04/24. I stopped here to buy a sausage biscuit and iced coffee at 6:40am. I was told to pull ahead which I had a feeling wasn’t good but I’d already payed. There were three other cars waiting.. after many minutes I was asked what I had ordered. Employee returned to the inside. Several minutes went by again and I was brought out the right biscuit but the wrong coffee. It had been 20 minutes and I was late to work so I just went ahead and took the food/drink.
I’m not writing this just to complain, but to warn others. You’ll need to allow for a half hour to get your correct order, so plan ahead.
The Wendy’s on Western Boulevard is a master class in complacency. The staff didn’t even bother to change the menu from lunch to breakfast and they seem to be interested in looking busy and not in customer service. The food is not fresh. It taste like been sitting on the counter for an hour. I do not recommend this restaurant, it should be avoided. The management and owner should be ashamed of themselves.
They gave me the wrong food. No receipt. I went inside to inform them and was told that I would have to wait because they were busy. While waiting the guy that received my food came in. He wasn't told that he would have to wait and they instead were working on fixing it. I butted in and explained that he had my food and I had his. He had no receipt either. He and I ended up just switching bags and hoping that the other didn't touch, breathe on or eat the others food. Once we switched, the worker that told me to wait began trying to explain in a hostile way. I smiled, the other guy smiled, informed him that he could calm down, we were good and we left. He had way more food than I did so I didn't have to come in to return it but I wanted to do the right thing. Their service was horrible.
I was curious about the burger that I order because it was ready when arrived @the drive-thru window. The attendant was being trained & needs to continue w/her training. She's not quite ready to handle that task on her own.
NEVER AGAIN. Ordered sausage egg and cheese biscuit combo with iced coffee through mobile app. Went through drive Thru and they had me pull up to door. The lady walks out with another order, she tells me mine is next and it took longer cause I had an iced coffee. So I wait in my car for 10 more minutes, until the point where there is no one else in the drive Thru and STILL I don’t have my order. I walk in the restaurant and they say the biscuits are cooking. So she lied about the coffee? She then finally brings my food out 5 minutes later and said “sorry, they had to cook eggs”. Just terrible service.
They can’t get an order correct to save their lives. Soda is usually flat OUT THE MACHINE, can’t deliver nothing without it being super late or incorrect. The website isn’t accurate at all when it comes to tracking your order. Honestly the entire fast food world needs to figure it out cause all yall suck.
I had a mobile order with 3 frostys, the lady at the window handed me one so i told her i was waiting on 2 more she snapped at me. then the 2 she gave were not the correct size. the fries were cold and hard, the lemonades tasted like water. i see why the rating is so low! i had a total 6 drinks and wasn’t even given a drink carrier.
if you wait past 10 pm to get food from Wendy’s, I highly suggest going elsewhere in raleigh because you WILL be waiting 20 to 45 minutes at the western blvd location. For whatever reason, they struggle with efficiency at the drive thru. This location needs supervision and cooks during these hours.
