Miserably rude stuff. Sign on door stated online orders only, stepped in to make an online order since it was really hot out, and they had the audacity to take down the sign and change it to "order before you enter". How petty can you get
We weren't sure why it took so long (more than 20 min in the drive thru) to make our order, but we did see a screen playing an anime movie in the kitchen. On top of that, our food was barely warm, and they were out of BBQ sauce but didn't even ask what we wanted to replace it with.
Ordered food about a half hour before close. They informed me they were out of more than half of the order so I canceled it. Card still was charged. Wendy's corporate told me they would refund it two different times yet never did. It's a tasty sandwich but buyer beware
this is pretty long and I'm going to keep it this way but I am going edit for errors and break it up and make it easier to read once I get to the house please enjoy!
I thought this was going to be my first or at least one of very few one star ratings for a restaurant.
But I'm giving this Wendy's just outside of Dayton four stars because great customer service trumps the extra long waiting time!
Here's the story.
first of all it's a Saturday night and looks like the university just had an event so I expected a longer than normal wait time but my way time ended up being 20 minutes I don't believe I've ever waited for a fast food restaurant for more than 20 minutes for my personal food.
The cashier told me there will be a 12 minute wait on my grilled chicken and I guess she thought I would say no I didn't want the chicken because she told me my order was $2 and something which was the price of my drink I told her I asked her did she get my number 9 or whatever the chicken number was and she made an interesting sound and gave me a new Total and let me know I had a 12 minute wait 19 minutes later I had to call the number and someone answered.
I told her I was parked waiting for my grilled chicken meal then she asked the crew was there someone waiting for a girl chicken and they say yes it just came off the Grill at that point I started to give them a one star in a negative review because I thought they had forgot about me but I decided to wait since she said it was coming out right now a minute later a guy came out with my chicken meal you apologize said he gave me a large fry instead of the medium and he added a cookie his tone was excellent his voice was on point great customer service that changed my whole attitude.
Of course I checked the food as before I drove off the fries were fresh the sandwich was hot and fresh cookie was on point and I was excited as I pulled away I saw about 13 cars in the drive thru how do I know what's 13 cuz I went around and counted them and I said wow it's a lot of trouble going on inside that building but he came out and gave me great customer service is no way I can give them my 1 * negative rating
I would like to give him a 5 because I I just would like to but I had to wait 20 minutes and they told me I was going to wait 12 and they didn't come out and tell me it didn't say anything but again that great customer service is what stopped me from giving this Wendys a one-star tonight another thing is where I was parked on the side of the building I got the watch summer Castaway that was a great movie with Tom Hanks oh that was kind of cool to like Saturday night at the movies anyway guys shop just Wendys hopefully it's not when there's a lot of trouble going on is something happening tonight but I'm sure it's not always like this cuz this is a busy area Trucking stations McDonald's is next door they're closed down for the night so I know this Wendy's is definitely a great Wendys to visit just outside of Dayton going down 75 heading towards Cincinnati it's got to be a great Wendy's fresh is brand new and again great customer service all right guys this was a long one thanks for bearing with me!
Waited for forever in a drive thru with about 4-5 cars just to even get up to the order window. Ordered a triple #2 (which showed as a baconator combo) and instead got a Dave's triple. On top of that me and the guy I was with mixed up each other's bags because they threw the ranch in the wrong bag when it was supposed to be in the biggie bag he got.
Food wasn't bad, but waiting that long isn't really worth it for Wendy's. On top of that, if #2 on the menu screen wasn't supposed to be a baconator combo, they need to change it because a baconator and Dave's triple aren't the same thing.
Pulled up to order at the drive through and was told I HAD to make an online order. Is this actually a policy or do they just want to stop people from ordering? Because of this a BUNCH of cars left so at this point Wendy’s is losing money on a regular basis.
My oldest child only eat fries. I ordered a large fry and they did not fill up the container but I did not realize until I was almost home. His fries were hot, my food was old! I called only to have them fix the fries. The manager gave me a code to write on my receipt. I returned 2 days later because I got sick the next day. The manager, Tiffany said she printed out a receipt for a male that I sent and gave him my code... I never sent anyone there!!! I never gave anyone my code! She said because someone used my code, she was not going to reimburse my son's French fries... I even showed her the pictures of the fries they gave us that day. That didn't matter...
The place was unclean, the service was terrible, and the manager who was on the line preparing food made no effort to make sure our order was complete or correct. My salad was missing the dressing, my husband’s sundae was incorrect and I can’t emphasize enough how dirty the place was. Every table was sticky even though they had clearly been ‘wiped down.’ The kids wanted nuggets and frosty’s, otherwise we would have left immediately.
