I purchased a large chili to go in Athens, TN. When I opened it I was disappointed. There was a cup of chili broth. No meat or beans. They did give me lots of crackers...now I know why. I have always been pleased with the chili, but not tonight.
Super rude a$$ employees, had to wait to get my change because they hadn't even counted their drawer. The floor was so slippery that I almost fell three different times because my canes just kept slipping. I told the employees and they said that, yes, they are slippery but no concern for my safety. There weren't even signs posted letting the customers aware of the floors. Totally a law suit waiting to happen.
This place is pretty well run; sandwich was made perfect, the cashier was wiping the tables (kind of rare in fast food places nowadays). The only knock is that I had to wade thru cigarette smoke walking in and out the door because of employees sitting right beside the exit smoking ????.
Double bacon burger biggie bag, freshly cooked burger/fixed, fresh fries and chicken nuggets. They did serve COLD fries to the lady before us (did replace them with fresh fries and apologies), floor, tables, seating was clean. Restroom clean.
One of the cleanest Wendy’s I have seen in a long time! Stephanie was manager on duty, she is a great leader to her team who all had gloves on, clean work stations, and got food out in a fast professional manner! Proud of our local Wendy’s!
Today around 11:00 I ordered jr fry & Jr frosty. Bill was $5.01 which sounded high. Put same order in app, came to $3.18. Few days ago, wanted to order tv advertised $3 breakfast special. Cashier said they did not have it & didn't know what I was talking about. Showed her on phone. Another Employee in back comes out front to tell me there's no need to get smart with them. You may want to place order on app so you're charged correctly & can order what you actually want. Food was good. Only reason for 3 stars.
It's an overpriced burger joint. Pedestrian burgers. Very good fries. Watery flavorless chili. Clean restrooms.
DO NOT EAT HERE, I went in to order and stood at the front for 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged by an employee. I waited another 8 minutes with no help and left because I had to pick up my nephew. He still wanted Wendy's so I took him there. We waited another 10 minutes to be helped and I knew they recognized me without any attempt to apologize. If you are so busy that you only focus on drive through customers, you need more staff. This is a leadership issue. Please DO NOT EAT HERE.
