Amazing Post-Church Lunch!
This Wendy's on Rt 3 in Fredericksburg absolutely nailed it! We stopped by after church and were blown away. The order was perfect, the food was delicious, and the staff was super helpful. That Dr Pepper was ice-cold, and the seasonal berry frost was the perfect sweet treat to finish off the meal. Highly recommend!
Clean bathroom, quick service, and the young man on register was delightful. Probably one of the better we days we've stopped at, and it's one we just happened to hit on a road trip.
Fries were also really nice and fresh which was a welcome change from most Wendy's.
Normally they're pretty good with the service. Could be a bit faster, but I have time. Stopped in this morning around 10:45 am. They're already serving lunch (??). So, I order a large fry, large Chili, and a 6 pc. Chicken Nugget with BBQ sauce. Stingy with the fries (supposed to be large. Might as well have gotten medium), got Chili soup (barely any meat or beans and with only crackers. Normally they ask if I wanted sour cream or cheese, etc but didn't today), and only given 1 BBQ sauce, which is not enough. The Nuggets were the only thing worth it. So disappointed. Didn't give lower stars because they're service is usually better. Just today was not good. Maybe they're having a poor start?? Please do better.
People don't care how they serve u yo food.... it be all thrown together.... burnt and dry as hell.... I just wish people would serve me food they way they would want there food.... that's all I'm sayin....
The food was okay, not hot, as we would like it. Also, they don't provide enough condiments, barbecue sauce, ketchup for your french fries, what is one ketchup compared to a large fry , ranch, sourcream for your baked potatoes ect... This isn't the first time I have experienced this with this location. Also, the chili was like soup once I got home, not enough beans or meat, and was Luke cold. Also, no hot chili sauce for my chili. I shouldn't have to ask for that it is to be given with the chili like all other Wendy's give out to their customers. Last time at this location they are too cheap. They don't own the location where they work there, making penny's so why they are so concerned about giving a decent portion of condiments for your food. I guess they give to who they want .
I’ll start by saying this has never happened to us at this Wendy’s before, but it’s concerning enough that we wanted people to be aware of this and check their burgers. We got a double burger July 17th around 6:40pm and when we got it home we discovered it was not cooked through, which leaves us concerned for food safety.
My husband called and reported it to them but it was difficult to hear much because of background noise; I’m hoping they heard and will look into why this happened, as it should be cooked more at a fast food place. But we wanted others to be aware and be mindful of making sure their food is cooked safely. (I didn’t eat most of the burger. It looks small in the pics because my husband and I were splitting it so the other half was on another plate.)
The food was good as expected. Loving the orange cream frosty. Person at the window was a little snippy but it was late in the day. The parking lot however had trash everywhere. Maybe they should get someone to take care of the outside once a shift.
The guy with the awesome dreads at the front counter was super nice and he put our order together super nicely and organized on the tray. It was much appreciated. Thank you ☆☆☆☆☆
