This Wendy’s is operated by the Pilot/Flying J in Ruther Glen, Virginia.There are several concerns. 1. My wife, who works at the Golden Corral, was still in uniform and was denied the usual courtesy discount. 2. Does that miserable looking burger in the photo look like the advertised Baconator? 3. They couldn’t even manage to include the requested condiments.
Oh, a good hamburger, now that's a thing of beauty! Back in my day, a burger was a simple treat, just a juicy patty on a soft bun, but even then, that first bite was pure heaven. Now, with all the fancy toppings, it's like a little taste of heaven on a plate. The way the cheese melts over the hot meat, the crunch of the lettuce, a dollop of mayo - it's a symphony of flavors, and I can't resist that perfect combination, even at my age. A burger is a reminder of simpler times, a comfort food that never gets old.
It seemed to be a very busy day. Between mobile orders, DoorDash and people in the dining area. We waited over an hour for our food. Management definitely needs to put their foot down with the younger kids just standing around not helping do anything. It was very chaotic and no one knew what was going on with peoples food. I would give it another chance just because they genuinely didn’t mean to be that bad. Everyone has their days.
Service was very slow... They almost gave us the incorrect drink order but we corrected them quickly. The sandwiches were decent in the fries were tasty. However, we ordered the cinnabon to go which instead of a thin layer of icing being smoothly put on there looks like a huge spoon of icing was just glopped on top; which made it super messy and unappealing.
I feel bad because the staff look like they were understaffed and overwhelmed. That's on management to make sure that people are the properly trained and have all the resources they need. This is a stop off as we were making our way from Norfolk Virginia back home to Maryland, so we will never see this particular Wendy's again
Was impressed by the pleasant staff and food was hot! Not many times do we go to fast food and the food seems to be made fresh. On our list to stop again as we travel through.
Employees are rude, 7 people in there and it still took almost 15 minutes to get my food. The kid that took my order with the visor is a rude loser, store was clean. Employees going off the clock made their own order before mine. Wouldn’t return. Get better employees.
It took an hour to get 2 combos. They kept clearing orders that were not complete and had half a dozen customer orders wrong when they were served. My order was missing an entire meal but after waiting an hour for the first part, I abandoned it. An absolute crap show.
This is the worst Wendy's I've been too. More employees than I typically see but most seemed to not care or not know what to do. Took 30 minutes for me to get 1 Biggie Bag. Get outside and notice fries are cold. Get back on the highway and the burger is dry and also Luke warm at best.
